Another crazy feat for the Greek Freak. However, a lot of list is made up by retired players but it’s still very impressive that he’s able to retain what’s looking like a very high spot on the list already at the age of 26.

Maybe it’s because we aren’t healthy, but I miss games being on TV. I’m tired of watching the games on my phone and having the stream pause and buffer. That’s all folks. Have a Good Friday! Hope we wreck the hawks tonight!

Look, what I'm saying will probably never happen and fans here may crucify me but I truly think the NBA should really consider alternative options than your traditional ESPN and FOX for their next TV deal.

Streaming and video platforms like Twitch and YouTube have become dominant in the last ten years or so and have reduced broadcast and cable TV to a dying medium.

One of the biggest reasons why NBA ratings have struggled as of late has been the inaccessibility of cable and blackouts. The current TV practice is not only harmful to the NBA, but traditional sports in general as it cuts off exposure to young audiences.

I became a Laker fan because of KCAL 9. Not because of the higher quality studio sets and "Worthy Claps" on Spectrum Sports 1. I was able to become a fan because I was able to access it as a kid. So many great memories came from my days watching Kobe hit clutch shots on that channel.

I fear sometimes that the next generation of people into traditional sports will be far less because of this.

The NBA as a business should be looking to get on the biggest platform possible and at the same time giving fans the most accessible way of accessing their content.

There's two ways of combating ratings decline. Either put your content for free on a streaming platform. Or put your content on a streaming service that is more reasonably priced than cable. Most of all, eliminate blackouts.

The first suggestion is highly unlikely, but my pipe dream would be to put all local games for free on Twitch with a triple header special every Sunday on YouTube with the Inside the NBA crew.

But the second one is tolerable and much more likely, making a deal to stream all local games on Amazon Prime and a weekly national stream on Hulu. Yes, there's a paywall sadly but these are platforms a lot of people have.

If you eliminate the blackouts, either of the two solutions above will help solve the ratings issue in the long run despite the second having a paywall. Yes, broadcast TV can still give you a big audiences but statistics continues to show that the internet now is the bigger audience than national TV

The monthly subscription for nba tv is 7$ maybe topshot could do free monthly subscriptions to holders of some complete sets, it would cost them close to nothing and would add the extra real-life utility that is very desirable in any nft project! This is the closest thing to offering tickets to fans, without spending too much! Also they could do jerseys or signed jerseys for team set completers! What do yall think?

for example we got way too much of the warriors during the 2019/2020 season and it was bad, we then got too much of the pels last year and it was comical. In the end its not always possible to accurately predict which team is good or bad during pre season and they should be able to adjust the schedule as the season moves on, so the solution is to make a new National TV schedule after 25 games based upon how the teams have all performed during the season rather than taking guesses before the season starts. another option is to have fans vote which game they want to see.

Remember when adidas came up with the Nickname Night? Yeah, that was pretty terrible. Nike has done so many great things with jerseys since taking over unis.
