A list of puns related to "Naples Grape Festival"
I'm planning a trip to Naples and the surrounding area, but the only time I can fly go is from Sept 19-24.
I realise this is during the Festival of San Gennaro. Now, I'm from NYC where this means a fun street fair in Little Italy with amazing food.
But from what I'm reading online, in Naples this is a serious religious ceremony when most things will be closed and the city will be packed full of people trying to see the miracle.
Is this a good time to visit Naples? Or the worst time?
Does the festival last a few days? ie If I find something to do on the 19th (like go to Pompeii), will things be "back to normal" on the 20th?
Also open to other suggestions on good places in that area (or around Italy!) to visit at that time! I've been to Rome, Florence and Milan, so now looking to explore some of the less touristy places.
Grazie in advance for your help!
I'm no spring chicken and this year was the first time in my life I've ever had, let alone even heard of, concord grape pie. I'm a big fan of concord grapes and it was the highlight of my Thanksgiving. With so many grapes grown in the Finger lakes and down towards Fredonia, I'm surprised I've never seen or heard of a grape pie before. Anyone in in 716 have this as part of their family recipes?
Too bad they don't actually drink any wine.

But they do wine
Iβm sick of raisin kids.
