A few weeks ago, there was a discussion thread about left-wing grifters. I didn't think of it at the time, but I just remembered that Naomi Wolf exists (not to be confused with Naomi Klein who is rad).

Shoddy scholarship, shoddy journalism and driven by confirmation bias. Her reputation was already bad when she got totally humiliated in a 2019 TV interview, where it turned out she had completely misinterpreted her primary sources, of which she had relied on for the central thesis of her book.

After her thorough humiliation she has been shunned by most leftists and feminists. So lately, she has pivoted hard into being a lockdown/vaccine skeptic and 5G conspiracy theorist. Probably because they are way easier to grift than feminists.
