Namárië song adaptation - looking for a source

While watching an old BBC doc about Tolkien I've found a beautiful interpretation of Galadriel's Lament used as an outro. Here's a link with a 10:10 timestamp. The voice undoubtedly sounds like Christopher Lee and bears a resemblance to his recording of In The Willow-meads Of Tasarinan, but I can't find any sources to confirm it aside from some YouTube comment claims.

I doubt it was performed just for the TV documentary, so any help with tracking the original song and its author is appreciated. I also extracted and captioned the poem itself, you can check it out here.

Ah! like gold fall the leaves in the wind, long years numberless as the wings of trees! The years have passed like swift draughts of the sweet mead in lofty halls beyond the West, beneath the blue vaults of Varda wherein the stars tremble in the song of her voice, holy and queenly.

Who now shall refill the cup for me?

For now the Kindler, Varda, the Queen of the Stars, from Mount Everwhite has uplifted her hands like clouds, and all paths are drowned deep in shadow; and out of a grey country darkness lies on the foaming waves between us, and mist covers the jewels of Calacirya for ever. Now lost, lost to those from the East is Valimar!

Farewell! Maybe thou shalt find Valimar. Maybe even thou shalt find it. Farewell!

Ps: Now this beautiful poem hits harder than ever. Thank you for everything dear Christopher!

odd suffix in Namárië?

from line 12 of Namárië "ar sindanóriello caita mornië" where "sindanóriello" is translated to be "from the grey lands." Sinda: grey nórie: lands -llo: ablative "from" suffix.

Why is it nórie, instead of nóre which is a confirmed translation of land. It isn't the plural nóri either since the suffix -llo would be -llon correct? Is there something I am missing?

Namárië! Nai hiruvalyë Valimar. --- R.I.P.C.J.R.T.

I note here the passing of Christopher Tolkien at the venerable age of 95.

Most folks are happily aware of his father's works, as they pretty nearly single-handedly defined the genre we work in. I'm sure fewer are aware of the son's contributions, Not so much as writer or teller of tales or geopoet himself, his was more a sacrficial labour. His was the task of sifting and collating and piecing together all his father's notes, scraps and bits of ephemera.

He brought forth in published form many of his father's lesser known works -- Silmarillion, Children of Hurin, Kullervo and the like.

But his own work also stands as a testimony to Middle Earth, for he was the first scholar of his father's work. Christopher's labour and legacy are every bit as profound: the multi-volume History of Middle Earth.

Not all worldbuilders create their own worlds. Some put others' worlds in order.

My Namárië headcanon

Last night, I eventually got to thinking about music in LotR, and how songs could be sung that we haven't gotten music for. Then I realized Quenya has the same stress rules as Latin, so it would work perfectly with Gregorian chant. (As opposed to English, which breaks it enough that we needed to make all new Gregorian-inspired melodies) So now my headcanon is Quenya songs either being Gregorian chant or polyphonic chant. The latter of which allows for images like Galadriel being the only one they see singing, but there being a chorus of elves hiding in the trees, providing four-part harmony for her. (Which would obviously be soprano, alto, countertenor, and tenor)

EDIT: (Hopefully) without the jargon. Latin and English are different enough that we can't use the same melodies for chanting each. We had to write all new melodies inspired by the traditional ones. But such problems don't exist with Quenya, and one could very easily chant Quenya to traditional Latin melodies.
