A list of puns related to "Multi Processor"
I've bought a new audio interface recently. It's PreSonus Studio 24c. I also have a Zoom G5n multi-effects processor. The Zoom G5n has simulation of amps and other effects, so I don't know if it's safe to connect the output of the Zoom G5n to the input of my audio interface. The guy who I bought the audio interface from told me that if you send amplified audio signals to your audio interface, the audio interface will break. So I'm skeptical whether I should connect the Zoom G5n to my audio interface or not.
Can anybody help?
I am trying to get into guitar pedal design, particularly multi effects digital pedals. I'm currently doing a survey of various solutions to the low latency, low power real time signal processing problem in these pedals. Is it a DSP and a FLASH bank for the effects? Do they use a more sophisticated processor? Is it an FPGA?
I've been looking for the detailed technical specs of any such pedals but couldn't find any. Any leads/examples would be appreciated.
SO!
I learned My Iron Lung by Radiohead, but Jhonny Greenwood managed to create a very unique sound that is really hard to replicate. Adding more to the dilemma, I use a multi-effects processor, so idk if I will be able to even replicate that sound. The multi-effects processor is called zoom g1x four. I tried searching for a vid online but since the song isn't so popular there is no one who has recreated the effect on the processor.
Pls do any of yall know how to recreate the sound
Edit: SOLD for 410
Selling a Hotone Ampero II Guitar Multi-Effects Processor Pedal that I picked up locally. It was still boxed up like new and I only opened it to test out that it worked with my bass and then packaged it back up.

I'm asking 425 shipped to the continental 48, PayPal Goods and Services only. I will box it inside a larger box with bubble wrap and ship it insured.

Motive:
I am just learning the fundamentals of multithreading, not close to finishing them, but I'd like to ask a question this early in my learning journey to guide me toward the topics most relevant to my project I 'm working on.
Main:
a. If a process has two threads, one that edits a set of variables, the other only reads said variables and never edits their values; Then do we need any sort of synchronization for guaranteeing the validity of the read values by the reading thread?
b. Is it possible for the OS scheduling these two threads to cause the reading-thread to read a variable in a memory location in the exact same moment while the writing-thread is writing into the same memory location, or that's just a hardware/bus situation will never be allowed happen and a software designer should never care about that? What if the variable is a large struct instead of a little int or char?
This may be a dumb question but as a beginner instead of spending $50-$100 per pedal i want to get a multi effects pedal to start out with. i plan to get the Valeton GP100. is this like any other pedal? meaning you plug it into your amp because in all the youtube reviews iβm watching most of the reviewers are plugging it into some device and using software and on amazon itβs called Valeton GP100 Guitar Bass Amp. So i guess the question is, does this plug into your amp like a normal pedal or is it itβs own little amp?
Hello yβall,
In the market for a multi-effects processor / pedal.
Basically Iβm using Bias Fx but I am bummed out that they donβt have a digital pedalboard and are currently just a plugin.
Iβm looking for a processor that would be able to somewhat replicate me using Bias Fx,
All I ask is that it has an expression pedal, a βToneCloudβ type of thing where I can find user presets from others, and it would be nice for it to be a built-in audio interface - although not needed.
Yβall have any in mind? Budget is under $500
Currently interested in the Headrush Mx5 & Boss GT-1
Thanks

Is it mostly just being a stereo in/out capable device? Iβve been comparing some units and this is the only big difference I can find (on paper).
Hi, is there a way to let multiple processors draw on a logic display at once without the display clearing all the time? I tried turning the processors on and off using a different processor to sync them up but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
