What if the Mount Hood Freeway and some of the other proposed, but never built, freeways were built?
How different would the metro area look? Would the MAX still exist as we know it? Would traffic be any better or worse? How would these freeways have affected the neighborhoods around them?

Any experience with Mount Hood 50 waiting list?
Hey everybody, I entered the lottery for the Mount Hood fifty miler in July. My training buddy got in but I’m on the waiting list at number 21. I’m not super anxious about whether or not I get in, but since we are training for a 100 miler together, I wanna make sure that I keep up with him. If there’s no chance I’m going to get in, I was going to sign up for the Siskyou Out Back instead.
Has anyone out there had any experience that could inform what my odds of getting in are?

Should I take my Bronco up to Mount Hood?
Was hoping to go up to Timberline to snowboard tomorrow! There’s some pretty steep climbs, and about a foot of snow predicted with high winds.
I have stock tires on my Bronco car and no chains (can’t find them anywhere!)
Has anyone taken their bronco into a similar situation? Ideally up to Timberline, recently? Any insight is appreciated!

I am scared of heights and icy roads, I feel like the activity might just not be for me. But I still feel like I should try it.
