A list of puns related to "Mothers Against Drunk Driving"
Prop 22 reverses California's law that makes all ride share drivers perminant employees. This forces Uber to provide benefits, workman's comp for those hurt on the job, etc. MADD apparently believes that taking benefits away would prevent drunk driving.

I'm just a 20 year old college student who knows a little something about Reagan, but this was a President who essentially hated government, thought government was the issue for the countrys problems and wanted to reduce federal bureaucracy that would impose limits on American citizens.
Edit: It has come to my attention I suddenly started talking about seatbelts out of the blue. If anyone has already started working on an seer thatβs talk about seatbelts thatβs great, just want to make clear this post is a perfect example of two thoughts escaping when I only wanted one
THE MIDWEST: Local mom, βjust load em up in the car and donβt you forget to load them kids too. Then head on down to soccer practice.β This comes to a huge relief to stay at home dads who cherish keeping a cool βtasteful β buzz as a means to maintain that sweat pant lifestyle persona.
My stepchild came out as non-binary this week. My husband didn't really understand it but I told him that they needed support right now and to use their pronouns and we can deal with the rest later. My husband clearly didn't listen to me and talked to his sister. I think his sister told her son and her son send my child memes that were horrific and incredibly hurtful. They had only come out to her parents and step-parents and were not ready to come out to anyone else.
They came to me late in the evening and showed those memes to me and they were crying. They also were very betrayed by their dad's actions. They wanted to go home and my husband was against it and he told me if I was going to drop them off then I should stay at my parents which is closer to their house. I packed a back for both of us and dropped her off at her mother's place.
I have been staying with my parents for the last few days and things have gone sideways quickly. His ex-wife is going to file for full custody and he can't afford that. He is blaming it on me and I feel a bit guilty because he is going to lose custody. I feel like my marriage is imploding and there is no way to go back from being the reason you lost custody of your only child.
I'm literally shaking rn, I've been a fan of destiny for so long but this is the last straw for me. I can't believe Kenneth would pile on the oppression us booze cruisers face every single day of our lives. Funny how destiny never mentioned that 75% of car accidents are caused by sober driving, clearly he is bought out by big water to keep us oppressed alcoholics down.
Watching these things, one gets the impression that imbibing a thimble full of beer and taking the wheel all but guarantees that you'll murder an innocent family of four. Dial it the fuck back to six, MADD! I'll bet there are more non-mothers than mothers in that organization, to boot.
Upon starting work with them my curiosity led me down Redditβs rabbit hole and Iβve noticed there is a lot of negative perceptions and false narrative being thrown around. Where did this all begin and why?
Lets presume you believe that in spite of the fact that MADD and the NHTSA have thoroughly lied and fabricate between 25-75% of drunk driving statistics for the agenda driven goals of lowering the BAC limit to get more arrestees, and they have good fiscal reasons for doing so, even if they lied its still "For the greater good".
Lets presume that there is no right to drive drunk, as there is not, and that even though the laws which have been enacted, which are highly disproportionate in response to the issue itself, are "for the greater good".
In the case of gun rights, can you still say "for the greater good these lies should be told"? Because you're asking us to relieve the nation of its rights because they're inconvenient and sometimes used to harm others.
Free speech is a right like gun ownership.
Free speech can be misused to harm others, aka shouting fire in a crowded theater to get people trampled.
Free speech has DEMONSTRABLY been used to harm others, like uVA rape hoax, Covington kids, etc. And yet we are not asking to dismantle it.
Free speech has been used to incite violent and murder.
Yet there's one important distinction. Everyone understands and is aware that "there are limits to free speech".
This argument says that "gun rights should have limits as well", but this is where the logic of gun grabbing cunts like moms demand action ends.
Because if the concept of "limits to free speech" is to "shouting fire in a crowded theater" is true, then the concept of "limits to gun rights" is to "illegally shooting people with said gun" must also be true.
These are in fact direct comparisons of where the right begins and ends, because in both cases the right begins unfettered and ends where you use that right to harm others.
In the free speech domain, the right is NOT suspended where you MIGHT use it to harm others, and you are not pre-emptively barred from free speech for certain words which COULD have the effect of harming others greatly, because if there is a fire in a theater, you can use that language, just as if there is a deadly attack, you can use that firearm.
This argument of limits to gun rights as to free speech and invoking the imagery of shouting fire in a crowded theater is, in fact, destructive to their own point, not supportive. Because it shows that MISUSE of the right is what is illegal and harmful, NOT that mere possession of the right is illegal/harmful.
