A list of puns related to "Morrison Management Specialists"
i'm our store's IS aka the store doormat, and was wondering what a typical work day looks like for other inventory specialist or how the day goes when you're doing counts/the zero balance? what's the dynamic between you and the rest of the store that makes it easier or harder for you?
i'm the only associate on the floor, so the days where i have to do our counts or the zero balance are especially hellish! customers need help all the time and need to be hand held to do anything! that alone makes counts and the zero balance a pain to get through. add in manager radio calls when you aren't even MOD because the manager likes to sit in the office doing who knows what and tells me to go do overrides even though she's closer and i'm on the other side of the store. frontend and print dept back up and break relief: check. running from dept to dept translating because i'm the only spanish speaker hired in our whole store despite a large latino population: also check. i especially love it when print calls for translation but they just wanna dump the customer on me. end the day rolls around and the gm wants to rip me a new one for not doing damages even though she avoids the floor at all costs and is barely of any help to begin with cause she's "still learning" (more like refusing) as an externally hired gm. -__- i've lurked around here before but would love to hear how differently the dynamics work in your stores and how that affects IS duties!
Hi Guys, I am currently getting my Masters in Fire Ecology from the U of Idaho and on a hotshot crew in R3. The job I would ideally like is the GS-7 fuels planner position (PD:FS4492) becauseย it requires firefighting experience (90 days) but not the high level quals of other fuels jobs. Sadly, it seems this position is rarely offered and the higher level fuels jobs require single resource quals as well as RXB2, which I wouldn't even get referred to.
I am basically in a position where I would like a perm job/career in the Forest Service but do not want to continue as a seasonal firefighter for several more years while I have a masters degree burning a hole in my pocket. The only other plausibleย option in the Forest Service seems to be switching to Timber management where I would not need the fire qualificationsย required to work in fuels/fire management.
It find it pretty frustrating that the agency thinks that I need to sit on an engine or handcrew for 5+ more seasons so I can get single resource quals, when I could just be in a planning position learning and applying my degree in a position that is desperately needed IMO. It feels like my education is undervalued while having expertise in actual firefighting (quals) is overvalued. Does anyone know if there have been talks to incorporate these positions with the new fuels funding coming?
Is there any resource, books, past exam questions, that I can look to study for the "Oracle Content Management Specialist (1Z0-1040-21) Exam". I now it is going to look that I want to cheat and etc., but I am really struggling to find out more about this subject. Thank you in advance!

If there are Office Management Specialists here, I'm interested to hear your views on life in the foreign service.
I was an 01XX in the Marines, where administrators were generally treated like second-class citizens. I want to hear whether a similar dynamic exists at State. Also interested to know whether OMSs ever rise above FS-04 (not whether it's theoretically possible--do you know anyone who has?)
I've been invited to the OMS OAs; just want to know what I might be getting myself into.
I work in operations management at a large insurance company and we recently adopted an entirely new system for filing processed claims. The new system is very inefficient at helping us do our jobs; its real purpose seems like to be tracking everything we do on the client side (about 1/2 of what we deal with).
Last Friday I get a call from my very condescending manager asking โwhy do you think your performance has been so poor last week?โ So I list off everything I do thatโs not tracked by the system (most tasks Iโm responsible for) and start to talk about the operational downfalls of the systemโฆand get cut off with a lazy โwell letโs try not to come up with excuses, itโs okay to admit you dropped the ball.โ At this point Iโm furious so I decide to end the conversation ASAP before I react.
You know how sometimes, you feel SO mad in the moment, but 20 minutes later you donโt even care? Yeah, this was not one of those.
So, after simmering for about an hour, I start going around the office (weโre at half capacity) and loudly comparing productivity numbers with everyone, ending each interaction in โcan you believe Richard called me about productivity? How can anyone be productive with this BS system?โ
Turns out, everyoneโs numbers were down. 0 exceptions. When they called me in to fire me, I sincerely thought Iโm about to receive an apology. Nope, terminated for unprofessional behavior. Anyway, if speaking loudly is โunprofessional conductโ Iโm sure you wonโt be dealing with my unemployment payments, since I was fired for cause, right? Narrator: They willโฆ
TLTR got fired for pointing out that management made a stupid move, and it caused a huge drop in productivity which they then blamed on me.
This is a bit of a rant, I really need to get it off my chest.
My doctor finally said it was time to see a pain management specialist because I have more bad days than good days now, and they no longer feel they can manage my chronic pain and try to solve what is causing it. About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, but my doctor does not think this is the only thing contributing to my chronic pain - which I've had for 4 years now.
I could have pulled a tooth easier than it was getting an appointment scheduled with them, but I finally got one. I had my first appointment with them yesterday and the doctor *flat out* said to me that they think I am exaggerating the pain and that they will not be treating me, because I am too young to be experiencing pain that can cause me to lay in bed all day. I feel so defeated, so... deflated. I feel unheard and I just don't know what to do anymore.
My GP said he will send me to see a different specialist, because he believes me, but right now I feel like I just need to give up and accept the fact that my life is going to be pain day after day anymore.

Notice that the salary range and grade has increased to FP-04 / FP-05. Hopefully attract some more talented IT professionals. Understaffed at many posts and needing good people.
With my arithirtic mild scoliosis he doesn't suggest I do anything but maybe walk or speed walk at most and some aquatic sports, but nothing else like I'm handicap. I use to be so active and now hearing I can't really do anything because it'll make my condition worse, but these doctors provide no alternatives besides pills, injections, and surgery.
That defeatist attitude won't deter me. Just saying...
I refuse to act like I should be on disability when I use to active and felt great and I had scoliosis since elementary school.
I got a referral to pain management from my endo specialist. Sheโs super dismissive and Iโm sick of dealing with her. Iโm at the point now where I donโt trust her anymore. So I got a referral to pain management. My question is: what does pain management do for endo? I have pretty much tried everything in the book as far as pain control.
FYIโyes, my doctor is a legit specialist, not just a regular obgyn.
I just had a question about the gpa requirements of the management BBA degree at UTM. What do I need to get into the program?

Edit to add content, sorry, my first post on here!
I have significant daily pain thatโs ruining my life. Iโm looking for a good pain management specialist to help. Iโm currently with hershey but looking for reviews for second opinions (I like them but theyโre really pushing the spinal cord stimulator which is not recommended for my conditions)
Iโm willing to travel but hoping to stay as close as possible!
Thanks in advance, Iโm sick of โlivingโ like this. :(
ETA I donโt have any problems with my back/neck/spine. So I appreciate the recommendations but I canโt use them, sadly.
