Edit:
So, it turns out I kinda whiffed on that title, but Stan has pulled off the following:
Kyle Singler + DJ Augusin + 2017 2nd Rounder --> Reggie Jackson
2020 2nd rounder --> Marcus Morris, Reggie Bullock, Danny Granger
Caron Butler + Shawne Williams --> Ersan Ilyasova + Brandon Jennings --> Tobias Harris
Joel Anthony + 2016 1st rounder (top 8 protected) --> Donatas Motiejunas + Marcus Thornton
The title should have read:
SVG has turned Kyle Singler, DJ Augustin Caron Butler, Shawne Williams, Brandon Jennings, Joel Anthony, a 2016 1st rounder (top 8 protected) and 2017 & 2020 2nd rounders into Reggie Jackson, Tobias Harris, Marcus Morris, Donatas Motiejunas, Marcus Thornton
not a serious question but just asking to see what that would actually be worth.
or say you can get Jackson instead, what would you give then?
Edit: pick will be a 2017 pick
There are rumors that the Rockets are trying to change their lineup and trade for Kieff and Jennings. Currently the are not really worth owning but will being traded to the Rockets significantly improve their fantasy prospects?

I have Jimmy Graham as my other TE, how good did I do?
Which two players should I start at RB2 and Flex. I also have golden Tate and Andre Johnson as Flex options
I'm at a loss any advice would be beneficial
I need a little advice this week. I have two RB slots to fill, and one flex position. I currently have Ellington and Morris in at my RB spots, and TE Dwayne Allen in the flex position. This leaves Rashad Jennings on my bench. He is returning from injury, and Coughlin has said that Jennings usage will be limited against SF. I'm still having second thoughts. Do I start Jennings over Ellington in the RB spot, or over Dwayne Allen in the flex spot? Ellington gets the touches, and can be very explosive, but he is facing a tough defense. Allen is very touchdown dependent. Any advice would be appreciated. Than you all and good luck this weekend!
10 team crazy scoring league. 1 pt/reception. 1 pt/5yards plus small bonuses for big games.
I'm 2-3 right now, mainly because I have no true game changers at WR and with the scoring one good game from a Percy Harvin type completely negates my strength at RB.
The way I see it I can wait out Jennings health with a combination of Brown, Britt, and Garcon and hopefully my WR situation will work itself out with two big time players come playoff time. Plus Morris's lack of receiving really hurts his value here as does Deckers ho hum yardage.
Awesome buy low or trade rape?

Background: responding to a Redditor on r/nba_draft who re-ranked the 2020 draft class, I expressed skepticism that Anthony Edwards would ever shoot the ball well enough to be an all-star. I justified this by claiming that “not many players get considerably better shooting the ball after their rookie season.” Someone responded by saying that assertion was absurd and asking for proof. Thus, this analysis was born.
Methodology: my primary goal was to identify the % of players who meaningfully improved their shooting after their rookie seasons. I did this by comparing a player’s 3P% their rookie year with their career average (which yes, includes that rookie season). I only analyzed players selected in the lottery, as I knew some might argue that GMs take flyers in the back half of the 1st round, which could pollute the dataset. Additionally, I only included players with at least 100 three-point attempts (3PA) during their first two seasons, ensuring an adequate sample size (apologies to Hasheem Thabeet).
Results: this table shows the 76 lottery picks drafted between 2008 and 2016 who had at least 100 3PA during their first two seasons. For players who had less than 100 3PA during their rookie season, the 3P% over the player’s first two seasons is shown. These players are marked with an *.

Here is a list of players up for their rookie-scale team options, which are accepted by default. Remember that you can offer early extensions--the formula for determining the size of the extension is below.
For first round picks entering 4th season option year:
Extension Salary per year = (22.5 x 3 + 4th year option salary)/4 with the contract as either a 4 or 4+1. Whether a player demands the full 4+1 is up for discussion.
Additionally, 2nd round picks also have team options with a contract size of 1.5M. You can decline those in this thread if you wish. The players eligible for that option will be listed below if you are unclear about whether your player qualifies. The math for 2nd round extensions (for 2nd rounders entering 3rd season option year) will be ((22.5 x 4) + 1.5)/5 with the contract as a 5-year deal.
Also, keep in mind that since the draft has not occurred yet, players added through the draft will add to your team's payroll. Please factor in their salaries when you make your decisions.

Last year, as part of r/fantasy's post series in support of Black Lives Matter, I posted 2020 SFF New Releases by Black Authors. I thought Black History Month would be a good time to refresh that post with a list of 2021 Speculative Fiction New Releases by Black Authors.
For more threads highlighting SFF books by Black authors check out these links:
The info in the tables is from Goodreads, so genre and audience info is more of a guideline, some books only had very little on GR yet, as release dates are pretty far away. If you notice anything inaccurate let me know and I will fix it. Title links go to Goodreads and image links between tables are of the covers.
