Hey folks, I am considering moving to Regina or Moose Jaw. I have a job oppourtunity where I will be able to work in either city. I have two young children and I am looking for opinions as to which would be a better place to raise them. Also my parner is a minority. She likes the idea of moving to Sask but is a little concerned that she might experience more racism than in other provinces we have lived. Any insiste would be appreciated. Thank-you.

I'm looking for stores where I can get a souvenir Moose Jaw tshirt. A few years ago my mom visited and picked up a souvenir shirt. It was blue, says Moose Jaw on the front and I believe had a moose in a circle. I realize I may not be able to find that very shirt but I'm hoping to find something similar. If you know of any stores that sell souvenir shirts it would be appreciated!

-How to travel from Regina Airport to Moose Jaw
-How and where to rent an economic apartment near campus.
-Where to buy groceries
-Where to buy things like bed, mattress, furniture
-Is it better to rent a furnished apartment?
-How to get a part-time job and a full-time job for my partner.

Never in my life have I heard of a city not allowing dogs and cyclists in a public park. Central Park NYC? Allowed. Stanley Park, Vancouver? Allowed. Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg? Allowed. Moose Jaw? No dOgS oR BiCYclEs ALlowEd.
I've heard that a provincial politician had the trees planted along that stretch of highway because they and/or their spouse found the scenery to be boring during the commute.
Does anyone know anything more about this? When did it happen, which politician, etc?
I drove this stretch today and my spouse and I were discussing the trees but realized neither of us knew any more than what I've described above.
