October has come and gone, we are nearing the end of the year (and the launch of two big games for the Switch!)

Our two Nintentube Spotlight candidates are joejs16 and Capaia! We will have a spotlight interview with both of them that will release on the 23rd of the month!

Our Nintentube Trivia Hunt will be based on there videos, essentially we tell you a question and the answer is from a corresponding video of there, so you have to hunt for the answer, hense Trivia Hunt! This will begin on the 16th, more information will be given on this soon!

November 9th-11 will be our Nintentube Quizbowl which is a 20 question quiz based on the Kanto region to celebrate the release of Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee!

The final week of November will be when our thumbnail contests of the month takes place.

We are considering adding an extra event, were we will open up ballots for people to guess what nintendo content gets announced or featured at this year's Game Awards, happening on the 6th. If you are interested in this event let us know and we will likely do it!

With the constant growth of PD in the past months, I think it's time to have a monthly bulletin as a way for me to address some issues that happened recently in the community, and also to give some announcements. And of course, this is my personal post, so this is not an official PD announcement by any means. So let's get this started

Last month we have temporarily banned 4 accounts from all PD events (League and Gatherling weekly events) due to cheating. So in case you don't know yet, don't cheat in PD community. We are not hesitant to ban players who are caught doing so.

If you notice or witness or even being the victiom of an act of cheating (or an antempt of doing so), bullying, harassing, and/or badmouthing either in Discord chat, this subreddit, and/or in-game chat, please let the mods know. If you are in a Gatherling event, you can tell the Tournament Organizer. Those behaviors don't have a place in our community, and we want to deal with those behaviors as soon as we can

As most of you must have read, there is an external website (not affiliated with PD) that is offering a separate unofficial PD pay-to-play league. There has been some questions raised in the Discord chat. So few notes that us as moderators wants to points out regarding this league and any future unofficial events

They are not affiliated with us in any way. We are not endorsing it, nor encouraging players to join it, nor forbidding players not to participate in it. We can't forbid anyone who wants to host any PD events outside our official events, and we can't forbid players in taking parts in those unofficial events. But please take note that...
- If you read Magic Online User Agreement in Clause 10. Restrictions, it's stated
>Wizards does not recognize or sanction player created events in the Game Service and is not liable for any issues that may occur during such an event including, without limitation, entry requirements, match disputes and arbitration, or prize fulfillment.
- Based on the above points, please take note that in case anything happens in the unofficial PD events, we (PD admins and mods) and WotC won't be able to help you in any ways. So if you wants to take part in those events, please do the required steps to make sure the events and the hosts is trustable and legit.

I don't know if it's because I've been on a foreign film kick since Parasite won but I'd love to see the pod do a foreign film as one of their throwback reviews each month. Get people to watch something they may have missed originally. Off the top of my head (aka films I've watched in the last couple of weeks) I'd recommend any of these to start it off:
- Akira - In 1988 the Japanese government drops an atomic bomb on Tokyo after ESP experiments on children go awry. In 2019, 31 years after the nuking of the city, Kaneda, a bike gang leader, tries to save his friend Tetsuo from a secret government project.
- Portrait of a Lady on Fire - Marianne, a painter, is commissioned to do the wedding portrait of Héloïse, a young woman who has just left the convent. Héloïse is a reluctant bride to be and Marianne must paint her without her knowing. She observes her by day, to paint her secretly.
- The Good The Bad The Weird - In 1930s' Manchuria, an encounter on a train triggers an epic crusade for a treasure map, prompting a marathon chase in hot pursuit of the loot. Do-won, `the good', is a bounty hunter, out to track down Chang-yee, `the bad', a charismatic hitman attempting to pinch the map from a military official. However, the ruthless Tae-goo puts a hitch in both their plans when he snaffles the map for himself.
- Memories of Murder - It is based on the true story of Korea's first serial murders in history, which took place between 1986 and 1991
- Giri/Haji (netflix/bbc series) - follows the story of a Tokyo detective who comes to London in search of his brother who has been charged with murder.
- Kingdom (netflix series) - set in Korea's medieval Joseon period where a crown prince is sent on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious outbreak (zombies) that leads him to a brutal truth that threatens the kingdom.
- Infernal Affairs - tells the story of a police officer who infiltrates a Triad, and another officer secretly working for the same gang
- Oldboy - follows the story of Oh Dae-su, who is imprisoned in a cell which resembles a hotel room for 15 years without knowing the identity of his captor or his captor's motives. When he is finally released, Dae-su finds himself still trapped in a web of conspiracy and violence.
- Train to Busan - A man (Gong Yoo), his estranged daughter and other passengers become trapped on a speeding train during a zombie outbreak in South Korea.

I could not believe they were offering it at ~$10-$20 a month ... i would have paid 5x - for the membership... and they should have charged that to be sustainable ... what were they thinking?

I went to many theaters around me ... that I would not have gone to otherwise ... when you have a pass - makes it so tempting to go ... each theater was unique experience in it's own way ...
and I got my friends to join and we went together ... essentially felt like it was free!

In this monthly thread, we open things up to requests for games you'd like to see filmified. These threads are not a perfect science and are entirely dependent on creators checking them from time to time so Thank you! in advance to anyone willing to help out with that.
