A list of puns related to "Montclair Kimberley Academy"
I don't know if there's a consistent population that's living there or if folks are in and out, but it's looking worse and worse..I feel for folks considering how scarce affordable housing is and all the other issues that people face, but I'm thinking this isn't a great solution??
Is there any agency/institution who could help these folks?
I dunno about yβall, but it always seems to be empty no matter what time of day it is. Lunch hour? Crickets. Dinner? Ghost town. I donβt think Iβve ever seen anyone in the dining room or even the drive thru for that matter. Itβs one of those things that makes me chuckle and scratch my head every time I drive by it, especially during the lunch hour when every other fast food place around it has lines around the building.
Is the food that bad? Is the one in Lakeview just as empty? Is the ghost of Bojangles scaring people away? Walt White the owner? What am I missing here???
I love wandering around Montclair and it's downtown area however I'd like to explore other towns with a relatively similar vibe. Brownie points for good coffee. Thanks!
My finance and I are in the beginning stages of looking for a new apartment in New Jersey. We've lived in Hoboken and Jersey City previously, but now are looking to move to either Morristown or Montclair. I work in the city, but will have to go in less than once a week (and not for a full 8 hour day), and my finance works in Far Hills. He will be commuting 3 times a week, eventually. We are both willing to do our respective commutes from either location.
A little context about us: We are in our late twenties, with no kids, 1 dog. We would be looking to rent an apartment, with a budget of $2.7k per month total (including parking for one car). We like some nightlife - but prefer a neighborhood bar over a more clubby/lounge vibe. Additionally, we both enjoy long distance running. We would also be looking to make new friends - not sure if this would be easier in one location over the other though. For those that have lived in Morristown and/or Montclair, which would you recommend?
We have two rooms for rent in a 4-bedroom house in Montclair. Each room is $504/month with a $500 deposit, three rooms share the main bathroom. Utilities and wifi not included in rent. All residents are former or current CPP students, coed. Rent period starts January 22nd, but either room is available for prorated amount if you want to move in sooner. Lease is for 1 year, but landlord lets residents break lease if they find a room replacement. We currently have a cat but are looking to rehome him, and the landlord does not allow dogs.
