A list of puns related to "Monica Reyes"
Hi everyone. So I recently finished watching the original run of the X-Files, and I've watched 4/6 episodes of season 10. I haven't enjoyed the season so far but I was excited to see Monica again in the finale.
I've tried my best to avoid spoilers, but I've accidentally seen a few article/thread titles here and there that heavily imply that Monica's character was not handled well and does not have a good ending in the revival.
She's somehow become my favorite character in the series and I'm really dreading finishing the show if it ruins her. So I'm here to take a quick poll -
As a lover of Monica, should I bother finishing seasons 10 and 11?
**No spoilers or hints please!! Just a Yes or No is fine.
I will probably end up finishing the revival regardless, but I'm at least hoping that with the responses I get here, I can figure out how low to set my expectations and how badly to brace myself to be angry/sad lol. Thank you in advance :')
Description: Listen in today for my conversation with six Latinx life coaches on their experiences rising in this industry and why representation matters so much. We explore how each of them found coaching, the unique obstacles they faced as women of color, and why even if you try to not be who you are, it will still seep out.
When everyone else was always reffered to by their last (like who tf calls Scully 'Dana' yanno? Except for Monica leading to my next question) And also why did she get away with calling other agents by their first names without any of them thinking it odd?
Iβve seen that Monica doesnβt get love, but gets the blame for why season 9 was bad which doesnβt make sense to me because I love her character! In my opinion, she seems the most relatable out of anyone on the x files. Annabeth Gish does a great job in my opinion. From what Iβve seen, Monica is great! Leave your thoughts below!
Was it ever clearly established in reality exactly why she aligned with the Smoking Man? Or is whatβs in Scullyβs vision the only explanation they gave? I feel like I may have missed something.
Either way, while I wasnβt the biggest Reyes fan, I do hate why they butchered her character, and I hate how she got killed off.
What was the point bringing that character back? She didnβt seem to serve a purpose...
I was just wondering this before, since I know that the majority of this subreddit seems to dislike Reyes a lot as a character. Granted, her development has faced some issues, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Reyes. She's one of the things in seasons 8 and 9 that make me so damn happy, plus her interactions with Scully are just perfect. So, what do you all think? Any fans of Reyes hiding out there?
Iβm moving to LA in the next few months and am trying to nail down a neighborhood that I think would be good for me. I have friends in both areas, but am still weighing the pros and cons. Hoping to get some help from people who know these areasβ¦
What sets the areas apart? Also, what would living in these neighborhoods be like for someone in their mid twenties?
Seniors living alone are especially more likely to face food insecurity and loneliness compared to adults living with other household members. Living in isolation, without strong support, can also significantly raise the risk of illness and injury.
In a time like this when we are more isolated than ever due to the pandemic, it is crucial that we come together as a community to increase food access and care for the wellbeing of our elders.
We at Meals On Wheels West support these seniors by delivering meals to their homes and doing weekly phone reassurance calls to check on their well-being.

Iβve (21F) been surfing on and off for almost a year, Iβm fine going out on my own but Iβm shit at reading waves and would feel more comfortable with someone else who semi knows, plus my buddies are all getting married and having kids and arenβt really interested in going surfing anymore
Hi all,
I plan to pursue my MBA at Pepperdine this coming fall and looking at the surrounding areas to live in. It would be nice to live on the beach, but Malibu is definitely out of the budget, which leaves the Santa Monica/Venice/Marina area. Venice beach seems to be the most expensive and also the least safe (?) So I'm likely looking at the other two options.
What does an average commute look like by Santa Monica? Marina del Rey?
I started to think he was overrated but now I realize he really is one of the GOATs.
The case against Will BB2:
- Cast of BB2 weren't very clued on over the strategic element of the game
- Rode Nicole's coattails so hard. Completely at hers and Hardy's mercy at times and often very uncertain about whether he'd stay or not
- Roll of the dice getting to the end as Hardy and Nicole were going to take one another, and Monica I think would've taken Hardy (correct me if I'm wrong?)
Case for Will BB2:
- There was no blueprint on how to play the game - so he couldn't build off other players or strategies of old. Contrast that with someone like Vanessa who knew which comps were coming up, had practised them before entering the show, using established strategies here and there, knowing certain nuances like aligning accordingly to incentives etc and basically having an encyclopaedia of knowledge.
Simple strategies are all that's necessary (same was the case for the winner of another famous show which I won't name to avoid spoilers) in the earliest season as the game is played more on social bonds and having to accept the harsh reality of strategy along the way. Hence Nicole BB2 and Danielle Reyes BB3 were somewhat overkill for the earliest casts. There's no point of leading strategy as the good looking nice guy archetype as Hardy was when you were going to be confronted with implementing ugly, hypocritical strategies to win.
- He pitted people against each other. I can only give him SOME credit for this. A lot of the time, it was just a case of the HG's themselves unravelling (which Will knew would happen and he did feed that fire).
- Almost every top tier player other than Derrick and Tyler relied on a comp going their way to make it to the Final 2 - they were completely protected in votes, no one else were. Will clearly didn't have to do that - he built working relationships with HG's and veto comps didn't exist for him to win
- He displayed GOAT level of charm and manipulation - I've seen so many instances of the house evicting players who pose less threat - but Will weaponized this entirely.
Case against Will BB7:
- Pre-season alliances rampant before BB7. Will's entire game was panned out before the season began i.e Making sure Boogie is on the show despite his poor showing as a player, Sov 6+Chilltown to take out the rest, Legion of Doom, Erika dating Boogie before the game, Janelle-Will-Boogie ince

I would prefer to take them somewhere that is a typical LA experience, but since I started my job I haven't really been out much. So far I've considered not in any particular: Spumoni, Father's office, Margot, Wally's, Gracia Madre, Forma, Tar & Roses, Craig's...
Basically I'm just using my limited word of mouth references from friends and Google/Yelp. My parents are fairly adventurous, but maybe without a loud club vibe.

I'm going to Santa Monica/Marina Del Rey (California) for a work thing this weekend and I'm looking for a boxing gym I could go to that's open hopefully open later in the day (I'll be free around 7pm). Or...
At least any gyms anyone knows of that has a heavy bag set up? Just looking for somewhere that I can go to and mind my own business and get to work.
I looked up some places on google, but a lot of them seemed kinda odd tbh.
Hey! I'm a 23M who has been bouncing around LA since I moved here from NYC for a new gig not too long ago. Was briefly looking at studios/1br. to no avail so figured I'd turn here to hopefully find a roommate (or two). Budget is probably max 1400-1600/mo but would try to accommodate any price range (higher or lower) depending on the roommate! I work Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00 and am pretty laid back. I enjoy watch sports, adventuring around, trying new food, being outside, am 420 friendly and would be open to a M or F roommate(s)! Santa Monica is ideal but I'm open to almost anywhere on the westside. Looking to move in ASAP so hit me up if you're interested in chatting more!

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Relocating from Phoenix in July, office is in Culver City and looking for houses in Santa Monica or Marina del Rey area.
What is everyone's favorite courses to play? As much as I love nice, exclusive courses, I do enjoy taking my girlfriend out for an affordable round/cart and lots of beers most weekends.
Any suggestions on bang for your buck everyday courses, and nice "treat yo self" courses etc.?
Also, since neither of us will know anyone outside of the office, it would be great to find another couple to go play with or at least a guy who wants to occasionally meet up after work and play 9/ drink 6.
Thanks in advance!
edit- California in case there is any confusion :)
Me and my friend aren't LA-natives and are now on a "mission" to find some absolutely amazing coffee in LA, and I was hoping /r/LosAngeles could help us out here? We live near the Marina Del Rey area, so anything up to Santa Monica and down around Playa Del Rey and maybe down to El Segundo would be perfect, but anywhere in the greater LA area that we should know about would help too. I'm probably gonna cross-post this to /r/coffee just to get some double-coverage in the "help me, I'm and idiot who doesn't know where anything is" category.
So where are the best coffee-spots? Please and thank you!
Hey y'all, I was wondering if any lions had tips for fun activities to do out in nature. Particularly nearby campus in Marina Del Rey or Playa Vista.
I grew up in DTLA so I know a lot about hikes in the mid-city and near Santa Monica. I like to take long walks so I'd love anything within walking distance, but I don't mind driving.
I've seen the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve is on Google Maps nearby, has anyone ever checked that out before?
Thanks!
I am claiming all the gyms in these areas for the blue team! Think about it, we are by the ocean so we can catch a bunch of water Pokemon and blue yea... Anyway took over the gyms at LMU but lost them this morning. Heading to Abbott Kinney/ Main Street SM later this afternoon.
Moving to Los Angeles at the beginning of september and Im trying to find a clean, cool roommate to share rent with in West LA.
Do your worst!
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
