Eliminated today:
Going into this final matchday, the battle for 2nd place in the group was between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Kyrgyzstan didn't have high hopes for even securing the 2nd spot and hoping the results in the other groups favored them, because while they had to face group topers Japan, Tajikistan got to play the bottom-placed team, Myanmar. Both games went predictably. Kyrgyzstan was well dominated by Japan scoring five goals, including an Ado Onaiwu hat trick within the first half. The only goal Kyrgyzstan managed came in first half injury time, when Hidemasa Morita committed a penalty on Kyrgyz captain Mirlan Murzaev, which he converted from the dot. That loss against Japan means Kyrgyzstan ends 3rd in the group, and they'll have to shift their focus to Asian Cup qualifying.
Kyrgyzstan's campaign kicked off in 2019 with a 1-0 away loss to their central Asian neighbors Tajikistan. Two months later, they almost lost by the same margin in their home fixture, giving up a goal before the twenty minute mark, and struggling to go on offense until they equalized with a messy goal from Tamirlan Kozubayev in minute 83.
They got an encouraging 1-2 away win against Mongolia, with Gulzhigit Alykulov converting a cross and Mirlan Murzaev saving a free kick setpiece that looked cleared at first, and only allowing Mongolia one penalty in the second half. However, their qualifying hopes took a big hit when they dropped a 0-1 loss to Mongolia this month, well after Mongolia were already eliminated.
However, they got two blowout wins against Myanmar, who Tajikistan actually suffered a loss to, so the match that likely ended up costing Kyrgyzstan their hopes was that very first game.

Peace, everyone!
I'm new here but I thought that people would be interested in this and I would love to share thoughts on anything here. I also posted it in a comment on another post so sorry if this is a duplicate.
(Content warning: two folks mentioned here are known predators. I labeled them rather than removing them because I think their work is worth engaging in provided that we have the knowledge of their actions outside of their scholarly work to aid in our analysis)
I took a class a few years ago with the title "The Theology and Praxis of Liberation in Muslim Thought." Below is the syllabus (which I did not get around to fully reading, although I'm still working on it). Hopefully there will be something in here for people looking to read more academic texts and potentially something to add to any "essential readings" sidebar content.
Onward always,

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
