A list of puns related to "Modern Ac"
I wanna hear your opinions. How powerful would ACs superwepons be if they were real and how would you counter them if you were in charge of US military.
For example Stonehenge, Excalibur, Scinfaxi, Arkbird, Aigaion. Letβs say China builds them, and protects them with available assets. Nukes and A-10s are banned.
Has anyone else noticed this new document in the game (out of the animus)? Do you guys know if the text content changes playing as Layla? I'm just curious...

I think the photo mode is a canonical element of Layla's Animus :p
I'm sure I'm the 18,000th person to say this, but holy crap the Assassins' Creed crossover in Watch Dogs Legion felt like everything I want in a modern day/futuristic Assassin's Creed.
Fucking hell, just merge AC and WD, I don't care. Just give more!
Just got the DLC season pass for this game and after doing the Assassinβs Creed missions and unlocking the Assassin, this is in my mind the spiritual sequel to my favourite AC game; Syndicate and gives us fans a modern day AC game.
What are your thoughts?
I played assassins creed odyssey a couple of months ago and I absolutely loved it, it was so fun. After I finished all the missions in odyssey I started origins I liked it but not that much and I still have not completed it. I realized that what I didnβt enjoy was that you were more of an assassin in origins and that (Iβm gonna get a lot of hate for this) I donβt enjoy being an assassin. I know itβs an assassins game but I loved running in forts and fighting 17 people at once in odyssey. And thatβs why I want to know. :)
People seem super divided on which set are better? like some people hate odyssey and valhalla because of their rpg progression system and I've also seen big disagreements on how the ezio trilogy has aged. Can any of you guys tell me why I should choose one or the other?
I finished the former, but knowing that Ubisoft is notorious for developing story in comic books I'd like to make sure whether there is anything I should know about before jumping to Odyssey.
Thanks in advance
And I mean modern day, as within the past 5 to 10 years. Not from back in the 90s.
Imagine having a hitman like stealth game which dedicates a whole game to our present day, with maybe a few futuristic components. I'd love to see a ac game in which you could actually can fire with modern guns and blend in into the atmosphere in big capital city's. What are your thoughts?
Just curious what perks and missions they may give her. Will a hidden blade be a gadget or a takedown maybe? Just super hype to see what they go with.
If there is one thing that Assassin's Creed Brotherhood improves upon over 2, it's that it amps up the "fun" aspect. There's a lot to do in Brotherhood but it never feels cramped or too big because everything has its own "hub" of sorts. You have the faction side missions, you have the Glyph puzzles, the Borgia towers, rebuilding Rome (which is a big factor in this), the Romulus lairs and the War Machines missions. There's a lot to do and it all feels varied and doesn't require several hours of trekking across the map to complete.
Everything feels relaxed and calm, despite the story. Both the Modern Day storyline and the Ezio storyline have a certain laid-backness to them, sort of like the Blood and Wine DLC from Witcher 3. The story is intense and all but everything else feels like a vacation away from the gloomy parts of the base game. With the MD, this is probably the closest we get to seeing Desmond's group acting like friends and being comfortable with each other and this doesn't happen after Brotherhood for various reasons. With Ezio, this is very much a post-Hero's Journey story but now, because Ezio is much more experienced, everything he does feels like it's on auto-pilot, in a good way. This almost allows you to place yourself into Ezio, this isn't some grand conspiracy/revenge quest, this is more of a tying up loose ends/revenge quest. The main focus here isn't Ezio, it isn't the story, it's Rome and all you can do while in Rome.
I think the only other games in the series that come close to this feeling are Black Flag and Syndicate and again, I think it's because they wanted to have more fun with the setting rather than trying to create a huge map with a fuckload of side content to do. A lot of the games post-Rogue (so when we went into the PS4 era) don't have that fun aspect, they can look pretty and have a lot to do but very few of them are exciting and don't really suck you into the game. Amusingly, for all the talks I hear about "immersion" in the newer games, it's more when the game is more game-like that I feel myself immersed in the game because you can forgo absolute realism and just go balls to the wall fun. Take the Flying Machine mission in Brotherhood, it's not realistic but it's definitely one of the best parts of the game purely because of the set up and the execution of flying around the area, bombing the shit out of giant weapons.
Going back to rebuilding Rome, I hear a lot of people say that one thing they want to see return i
... keep reading on reddit β‘Personally I think instead of the Staff, the Shield of Achilles could be what gives her timeless life, since that could be what gave Achilles βimmortalityβ: a shield that couldnβt be destroyed, and lengthened life. Then that shield could be used against bullets. Itβs getting a bit wonder womany, but hey she already was essentially a demi god anyways.
Imagine if Kassandra was the one who taught the assassins to fight later down the line! Like the game makes it clear that sheβs been getting stuff done all this time, but what has she been doing? Sheβs definitely been fighting agains the Cult, the Order and the Templars.
I've had this question for a while, but Abstergo mentioning the game in Black Flag reminded me of it.
In AC Liberation, you aren't actually playing as Aveline, or even a ancestor of hers going through her memories in the Animus. Instead, you're playing a video game that Abstergo Industries created, one where they have gone through Aveline's memories and removed all mentions of the Assassins and Templars. However, throughout the game, you are repeatedly required to assassinate a figure known as Citizen E, which will unlock cutscenes that mention the Assassins or a specific assassin (like Mackendal). Once you have assassinated every Citizen E, you unlock the true ending, where Aveline kills her step-mom and receives a message from the time of the Isu. Turns out this was a hacker who knew of Abstergo Industries' control by Templars and wanted to fight against them.
With that being said, why did the hacker even go through the trouble of hacking a single copy of Abstergo's game? It's not like he hacked every single copy of Liberation, otherwise that probably would've gotten a mention when Liberation was talked about at the beginning of Black Flag. I can only assume that the hacker hacked a copy that a very specific person received so that he/she could be recruited to the Assassins, but who is that person? What makes them special? Do they have remenants of Isu DNA in them?
