Mito Kōmon Puns

The changes We would like to see in the Japanese music industry...One is for it to be healthier, and the other is for J-Pop to permeate the world. So, here are the requests I wish for the Japanese music industry in 2022.

1. "Billboard Japan's Relentless Innovation": Billboard Japan changed its charting policy (charting method) for the Songs chart four times in 2021, once every quarter. In the same year, there was no significant change in the weekly chart dominance of songs with strong physical sales, followed by a sharp decline the following week, but based on this, the chart policy was changed again in the first week of 2022. We can see that they are aiming for a more favorable chart. In the future, we may see various changes in digital, and I hope that the chart policy will be flexible enough to respond to those changes. While I am hopeful about this, I cannot deny that there were some problems with the chart release last year, and I strongly hope that the checking system will be strengthened.
2. "Enhancing Digital Archives,": new J-Pop albums are increasingly being released on the same time as their physical releases. For example, Hikaru Utada has followed the trend of other countries to release digital music before physical music is released. Although some may disagree, this trend is expected to increase in J-Pop as well.On the other hand, in the past year, for example, Mr.Children's "SOUNDTRACKS" and B'z's "FRIENDS III" have delayed the ban on subs. I can't help but feel that the music industry in Japan has yet to change, as it still prioritizes physical and other ownership indicators.(In this regard, I believe that Billboard Japan's change of its album chart to one that incorporates streaming indicators, similar to Billboard in the U.S., may encourage reform in the Japanese music industry. Since lookup, which is also a contact indicator, is already part of the mix, I hope Billboard Japan will discuss its introduction). Also, there are many singers from Johnny's and Associates and other artist who have yet to lift the digital ban. While Arashi has lifted the complete streaming, other singers,have yet to do so. In this situation, Naniwa Danshi, who debuted last year, made a hit with "Ubu Love" by taking a digital approach as much as possible. We can only hope that they will eventually be able to make a subscription as well.

(”Worker ants” that don't work)
働きアリに関する有名な研究がある。一生懸命働いているように見えるアリの行列をよく観察すると、働いているアリを横目にただ動き回っているだけのアリたちがいるという。
There is a famous study on worker ants. If you observe closely at the line of ants that seem to be working hard, you will find that some ants are just glance to the working ants and moving around.

If you look closely at the ants that are working, you can see that there are ants that work very hard and ants that work just fine. If you look at the total percentage, you can see that 20% of the ants work well, 60% work normally, and 20% do not work at all.

Therefore, they try to create a new ant organization by collecting only the ants that work well in one place. Then, somehow, ants that don't work start to appear again. As many of you may know, this observational study has been attracting attention in the business world as well. Whenever/every time I see a special project at a large company that was started with only "capable" people failing spectacularly, or a team of star players in the world of professional sports failing to take part in championship at all, it (starts to) feel like the rule is quite true.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
