I'm looking at this from two different angles. He was a phenominal lyricist, especially on The Cleansing, No Time To Bleed and the 2006 self-titled demo. But his vocals always seemed terrible to me. Eddie Hermida was a good replacement in terms of vocals, but overall sucks as a lyricist and doesn't hold a candle up to Mitch's writing ability.
Sad but true. Although I rate Eddie as a vocalist, Mitch was such a massive part of that band particularly through his lyrical content and live stage performances. I personally enjoyed "You Cant Stop Me" but that self titled bullshit was horrendous and their latest effort is the most generic boring shit I've heard in a long time. In my opinion they'd be better off calling it a day on Suicide Silence and starting a new project. What do you guys think?

I've been a fan of You only live once for a long time so I decided to delve more into Suicide Silence's stuff. I was listening to the song O.C.D. from the album Black Crown and Mitch did little bits of cleans in them. They sounded very unique and interesting. So I'm curious , did he do anymore cleans in any other song ?

If Mitch Lucker was still alive today do you think he would me able to compete with today's modern vocals? I mean you got such great vocalist as Dickie Allen, Rok Rupnik,Ben Duerr, Cj Mccreery,Daniel Burris,Tom Barber,Stevie Shaughnessy,Jacob Wallace,Alex Terrible,Ian Bearer & Robert Wilson, or do you think he would be blown away. I mean, i liked Mitch as much as the next guy but he only had one technique, all the other vocalists i just listened have a lot of techniques. What do you guys think?
