1921-1922 - Congratulations, your program won back to back National Championships, Wait a minute, those were just 2 pre-tournament titles that may not actually count.
1923-1926 - Enjoy 4 years of mediocrity under George Bond!
1927 - You hire a new head coach in George Edwards, maybe you'll actually win a National Championship this time around.
1930 - Congrats, your program won another conference regular season title. What do you want another trophy?
1931-1938 - And another stretch of mediocrity.
1939-1940 - Back to back Big Six regular season titles!
1944 - Congratulations, your program finally made the NCAA tournament! Only to lose to Utah in the first round.
1946-1962 - Enjoy a long stretch of mediocrity under Wilbur Stalcup!
1963-1967 - And another mediocre stretch under Bob Vanatta
1967 - Our last two head coaches were mediocre. Hopefully this Norm Stewart guy doesn't frick up.
1972 - Congrats, your program has made the NIT! In which you lose in the first round to St. John's. Old habits die hard.
1973 - Last year was brutal for you guys, you get consolation though losing in the first round of the NIT again, this time to fricking UMass.
1975 - This time you make the NCIT??? And you once again lose in the first round, this time to Purdue.
1976 - Alright, this year should be the year, you actually make the NCAA tournament and you've won 2 NCAA tournament games and have it made it to the Elite Eight. And then you get pimpsmacked by Michigan in that round. Better luck next year boys.
1978 - You make it back to the tournament, and lose in the first round again. This time to Utah. Old habits die hard.
1980 - You've finally won 2 tournament games again, only to lose to LSU in the Sweet Sixteen.
1981 - And another first round defeat, this time to Lamar.
1982 - You make the Sweet Sixteen again, only to lose to a #6 seeded Hous
