Please tell me I’m not the only person that remembers Microsoft comic chat from the 90s?
Me and my brother were talking about it the other day and remembered that it existed, but anyone else I’ve brought it up to has no idea what I’m talking about..
It was basically back in the good ol’ days when people were in chatrooms talking to questionable strangers asking “A/S/L?”
I probably have a few episodes of “To catch a predator” that I could’ve provided some inspiration for from some of the weirdos I’d talked to at the tender age of 9. 😅
For those who are unfamiliar with the platform, it was a chat program where the users were represented by a comic book style character, and the chat took the form of a comic book story board. You could also play sounds and, as long as other people had the same sounds downloaded, they would hear them too. Lots of sounds got (slowly) shared backwards and forwards. People would use clips from movies to respond to things other people said, like gifs are used today.
This snippet of music grabbed my attention, a kind of funky jazz mashup, but no one knew where it was from. I've played it to a lot of people over the years but no one recognises it, although a few said it might be Coldcut. I waited a few years for smart phones and Shazam to be invented, but no luck. I've recently uploaded it to YouTube to see if anyone files a claim, again, no luck. You're my last hope Reddit, solve this 22-year-old mystery for me.
This issue has been persisting AT LEAST since AoE2 DE. And people complained A LOT back then, just take a look at the Aoe Forums. That's over 2 years and nothing has changed!!!
You are not doing ANYONE a favor with that ridiculous filter. I even have my doubts that it helps you with some content rating labels (like PEGI or USK). Currently I have the impression that its sole purpose is to fck with the customer.
I cannot even properly communicate with my teammates because of this disastrous filter. In a match today, I told my teammate to "kill mangonels". Guess what he saw? Yea, exactly: #### #########
You know your filter is utterly crap when it even starts censoring "official" ingame content. What an awful piece of work.

We’re currently using Chat groups in Microsoft Teams and it’s becoming increasingly tedious to manually add 50+ students to each group - is there a way to easily add them all? Ideally we’d like to copy their emails from a document and then paste them in, but this doesn’t seem possible.
We use teams as well, but for this purpose we’re just after Chat groups.
Any help is really appreciated!
Make it togglable please. Half of the time, it doesn't fucking work. It's been there on all AoE games and it didn't work on any of those. Somehow, they make a game about slaughtering thousands of people, but the moment say a poo poo word, it's not ok. Just make it togglable.
