Obviously we cannot let this happen, Mick has been an integral part of the NoPixel community, Gladys is an OG and has been on this server for years. Sheldon has been the back bone of the burger shot since the first few days of 3.0. All in all I do not feel as though Mick has gotten enough recognition for EVERYTHING that Mick has done. Mick ran Chihuahua Hot Dogs with Gladys berry with little to no mechanics, in hopes to have it blossom into something, which was met with nothing in the end.
Show Mick how much he means to this community, and spread the love of his characters and hard work that he has put into the RP/No Pixel Community with a memory, or something positive that you know Mick has done with the community.
Example: Mick is ALWAYS welcoming in new faces into RP scenarios. Mick also is a member of the OG Prune Gang which has created RP and Lore that will last for the rest of NP, along with COUNTLESS songs.
Bob Dylan is 80 today. But whatβs his greatest song? Stars pick their favourite β and recall their own encounters, from Marianne Faithfull turning him down to Judy Collins whacking a policeman to get backstage
In case you didnβt know Mick Jones was the second guitarist on the Plastic Beach tour along side lead guitarist Jeff Wootton but after watching some performances from 2010 I released that he literally isnβt playing anything except from a few chords now and then. I mean I guess if Jeff Wootton wasnβt there I guess he wouldβve been lead but it just makes me sad to think how happy he was while playing with them but he wasnβt even playing anything I mean him and the bass player Paul Simonon where both from the clash but Paul ,although not through the entire songs, actually played bass through every song so was Mick Jones even playing anything?
That is all.
I remember reading somewhere an amazing story of how The Clash and the other musicians finished recording the songs for Sandinista and then they left town leaving behind Mick Jones to finish mixing/arranging the songs. Mick apparently spent several weeks working on every detail until he was happy with each song. Sandinista was a labor of love for Mick. Does anyone know where this story is told? I can't recall if it's from a book about the band or perhaps an article online.
