I personally live through music and can find any song to express how I am feeling. I just wanted to share a lot of songs that may help or help you cope with a breakup/breakups. Songs that can help you express your feelings of sadness, grief, anger, gaining your power back, betrayal, lost, and confusion. I personally have gone through all these emotions and thoughts.
I would also love to hear what songs have helped/has been helping you through your breakup. So if any suggestions come to mind please share and I can add on to the list! Also, if you want any songs that do not even relate to breakups then just ask!
I also have tons of more music that I did not put on this list, so ask if you want more! And sorry for any repeats or mistakes. I wrote this post on separate days.
Songs that helped/helps me through breakups:

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.

True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"
.
.
.
He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.
Hey everyone, let's take a break from the stock talk and talk some music instead. Got some decent new tunes, as well as some older ones I'll mention at the bottom. Like always, Spotify playlist below has everything here.

NEW RELEASES:
Don't get me wrong I dig a bunch of their heavier stuff, but this is a pretty cool switch up to a softer sound on this one. Pretty easy to play on acoustic for all my guitar players out there. Full album coming out in March.
This one is a new single off the deluxe version of their album that just came out last year. Not really my vibe honestly, but worth a mention at least.
A month going by without King Gizzard not releasing new music? Think again, friend. This one feels very trippy and all over the place, but somehow everything works together.
One of the best producers to ever do it, this one is worth a full listen if you enjoy good hip hop beats. Doesn't even need any rapping, just phenomenal production and vocal samples.
Fun, upbeat single with a funk/pop vibe.
Already mentioned them a few times since this is their 4th single off the upcoming album out in a couple weeks. Just all around good, catchy indie pop.
Interesting change of direction by Weezer here as they completely ditched guitars, and made the whole album with a full 38 piece orchestra. Pretty cool overall theme of the album which is to reconnect as humans without overly relying on technology. [There's a
