I just finished all seasons and I don't have any major complaints outside of Andy. He made the last two seasons really hard to watch and irked the hell out of me in a way that Michael or Dwight never did. I literally loathed the writing in the last few episodes when they kept giving his A Capella pipe dream screen time.

Warning: This is VERY long, especially towards the end. If you don't feel like reading paragraphs on paragraphs on the new album I completely understand, but if you want to read through one sheerio's thoroughly thought out, and extremely biased perspective on the album, enjoy.

This ranking isn't going to resonate with a lot of people who aren't big fans of Ed, or don't care about him as a person. I do, so my favourite songs are always going to be the most personal, and honest off of his discography. I’ve wanted to do this since I first heard the album but decided to let it sit for a while. My opinion on music changes constantly so it’s likely that in a year I’ll probably have a completely different ranking.

I watched the live where he played all of them acoustically, and cut them up into mp3s and have been listening to the album both acoustically and regularly.

To clarify, I’m ranking them on the essence of the songs; the lyrics, the emotions, the catchiness, the melody and the uniqueness. The extra layers are cool and all, but when I listen to Ed’s music, it’s never for the robust production, it’s for the authenticity of his songs, and the deep connection he has to each song.

I've seen people react to the album and almost all of the gripes seem to be with the overproduction on it, but I'm taking a different approach to my review. For almost every song I rank i will have the acoustic version in mind, except for the handful that I prefer in the studio format. I’m ranking them based on my favourite version of each song, whether that’s acoustic or studio.

Whether you agree with approach or not is for you to decide. I don't know about you but I primarily listen to the acoustic version almost all his songs so my opinion on his music has never been based on production. This is why i am taking this approach, why rank the version of the song that i'll never listen to anyways? I am saying all this to allow you to understand why I feel what i feel about each song, and the album as a whole.

Disclaimer: This is all subjective and biased opinion. I’m a singer/songwriter who was inspired to play music because of Ed Sheeran. My connection to his lyrics, and who he is as a person, is going to heavily skew which songs I prefer. Also as a songwriter I will emphasize lyrics more than anything on my list, as it’s my favourite part of music.

Hey, everyone! Here's how I would've handled the 4Kids voice cast had I been in charge of it. (DISCLAIMER: I do not by any means intend to target anyone who liked the entire 4Kids cast; I'm simply suggesting some changes that I think would've made it better. I also think this cast could've worked if SEGA chose NYAV Post as their recording studio.)

• Sonic the Hedgehog: Honestly? I'm keeping Jason Griffith for this one; I can't think of a better candidate for the role, especially after hearing him in Sonic Unleashed and Sonic and the Black Knight. My only qualm with his performance would be how he tended to overemphasize certain words, primarily in the first half of his career as Sonic (which I'd say ranges from Sonic X to Sonic '06). Bearing that in mind, I would focus on having him perform as he did in his last two games.
• Miles "Tails" Prower: This one's kinda tricky for me. On the one hand, I consider Amy Palant to be a victim of misdirection rather than an actual miscast, as I think her voice for Miss Valentine from the 4Kids dub of One Piece – which sounds more like a young boy – would've suited Tails a lot better than the one she ended up using. (Ironic, don't you think?) As you can tell, my biggest qualm with Amy's performance was that she made Tails sound too feminine, sometimes a tad squeaky, too. (Again, I blame the director for hindering her.) On the other hand, I think Veronica Taylor would've been a more tolerable substitute with her performance as Ash Ketchum from Pokémon. If I could suggest two more options, I'd say Cassandra Lee Morris and Eileen Stevens based on their performances as Leo from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's.
• Knuckles the Echidna: Sadly, I'm ditching Dan Green for this one. To me, he suffers from a similar problem to Roger Craig Smith as Sonic in that they each sound a bit too old for their respective characters, and the direction they had to work with makes their performances come off as somewhat one-note. Bearing that in mind, I'm giving the role to Marc Diraison. With his work as Guts and Roronoa Zoro, I think he could provide a more fitting voice and reflect Knuckle

Why 75? Well, because the league is going to be celebrating its 75th anniversary this upcoming season. So I figured I would jump on the band waggon.

Here are the tiers: T5. Premium Starters (51-75) T4. Borderline Stars (31-50) T2. All-NBA Guys & All-Stars (12-30) T1. Superstars (1-11)

• The separation in the tiers is minimal, it’s a matter of preference and honestly, the ranking within tiers is not that important.

• It’s more just getting a feel for who matters in the NBA today. If we do this list again in one year, there’s likely to be a significant change, that’s the beauty of the NBA.

Brief tier explanations:

Tier 4 Players 75-50 are what I’m labelling ‘premium starters’ - guys that plug and play on a really good team, role players who contribute to winning.

Think defensive specialists, elite 3 & D stretch bigs and hybrid scorer/playmakers.

Tier 3 Players 30-50 ‘Borderline All-Stars’ - guys good enough to be the third-best player on a championship team and players like Vucevic and Sabonis who have made All-Star teams in recent vintage, but are not necessarily one of the best 30 players in basketball.

Tier 2 Players 12-30 are bonafide stars who can be the 2nd or 3rd best player on a championship team. Some younger players are well on their way to being in tier 1. The top end of this list is All-NBA Guys while the bottom is more All-Star level.

Tier 1 Superstars - The best player on championship team ceiling. offensive juggernauts or 2-way forces of nature.
