A list of puns related to "Metropolitan Borough Of Sefton"
Pretty much the title. Did some reading online, and it seems that most sources, including the club's website, state that the first club crest is based on the Woolwich Borough coat of arms.
But... the club crest was first revealed in 1888, while Woolwich Borough was not established until 1900.
Does anybody have an idea?

> NEW YORK - Inmates at a federal jail in Brooklyn have suffered for days without heat or power during a wintry cold snap, according to lawyers and U.S. lawmakers who rallied outside the jail on Saturday demanding the problems be fixed and ill inmates moved.
> At least some of the more than 1,600 men and women incarcerated at the jail have suffered in near-freezing temperatures and in darkness after the sun goes down while locked in their cells for 23 hours a day, according to the court filings.
> Officials at the jail and the Bureau of Prisons had said in emails this week to the New York Times, which first reported the problems on Friday, that the cells still had heat and hot water.
> Nydia Velazquez, who represents parts of New York City in the U.S. House of Representatives, was one of the lawmakers who visited the jail on Saturday.
> Hugh Hurwitz, the Bureau of Prisons' acting director, told lawmakers in telephone conversations he agreed that conditions in the jail were "Unacceptable", according to Velazquez.
> New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said in a brief statement that the conditions at the jail were unconstitutional and demanded an immediate fix.

Yesterday, Unownuzer717 campaigned in the Metropolitan Borough of Bolton, where he met with residents and workers in Bolton, Blackrod, Farnworth, Horwich, Kearsley and Westhoughton to listen to their concerns and to win their vote. Unownuzer717 pledged to increase public transport frequency and replace Pacer trains. Unownuzer717 then attended an NUP event where NUP merchandise was being sold. Unownuzer717 decided to help out with the summer clearing sale in the home furnishings and decor section.
"Get your tikki torches now! Buy two get one free! Wake up everyday like you're at a tropical resort by installing some NUP tikki torches in your room!*"
"Great value on bedsheets! These beautiful white as snow bedsheets are now 30% off! You wouldn't get such high quality bedsheets with such a great offer anywhere else!*"
"Demonstrate your patriotism by getting yourself a British flag to put at home. Nothing says patriotism like a Brit who salutes to the British flag in their room every day. Want to be even more patriotic? Buy more flags so you could install them in every room and hang them out your windows!*"
The clothing section next to Unownuzer717 was doing incredibly well. Black shirts and trousers were being sold like hotcakes. T-shirts and hoodies with Nordic symbols, five-fold crosses, and Crusades slogans were also selling rapidly.
After helping to sell some merchandise, Unownuzer717 met with his supporters at the event to listen to their concerns about mass immigration and the loss and suppression of British patriotism and cultural identity by the establishment.

Unownuzer717 and his supporters marched through the streets of Oldham today, demanding better governmental support for families that struggle to feed their children due to poverty.
"This is just one of many signs that the Westminster elites do not care about you! The Labour and Green parties claim to help the working class, but what have they done? All they have done is made your situation worse by pushing for mass immigration into Greater Manchester!" announced Unownuzer717
His supporters cheered and waved the British flags in their hands in demonstration of their patriotism.
The crowd marched to Civic Centre, where Unownuzer717 announced a list of demands and pledges from his megaphone, including a halt to mass immigration, an increase in policing to ensure safety, for the government to bring manufacturing jobs back to Greater Manchester to bring back jobs for the working class, and to increase Metrolink and bus frequency.
The crowd cheered in support for Unownuzer717's demands and pledges.
Afterwards, Unownuzer717 went campaigning door-to-door across the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, including in Oldham, Chadderton, Failsworth, Royton, Shaw and Crompton. He also visited Royal Oldham Hospital, community centres, and pubs to meet with voters.
