Anyone have any experience with this compound? Was able to procure about 1200mg of it for more money than I would've like to spend on it but for the sake of science, I paid up.
After researching Google and Reddit, I can't really find much else other than a few posts but the dosages vary so much, I have no clue how much to dose and I'd like to avoid being underwhelmed and end up with too little left over to try again.
Prescription amounts vary from 200-600mg so I was thinking of starting with 600mg and redosing depending on how I feel.
Anyone have any insight on or experience with this drug?
Ps. I've tried soma up to 1300mg (maybe 1500mg?) and was underwhelmed. Seeing as carisoprodol metabolizes into Meprobamate, I'm hopeful that Meprobamate will be more effective.
Anyone ever use this for anxiety? Apparently was replaced by benzos or barbs due to safety and shit. Came across some and wondering if it's worth getting 1.2g. Rather not use benzos.
Ended up buying 1200mg of Meprobamate a couple weeks ago after researching it a little but the recreational dosages where higher than anticipated, ranging from 1000-1600mg, meaning I had paid about $35 cdn for one dose. Of course this is way too much, even if it would've been 2-3 doses, it's too much but curiosity had gotten the best of me.
I was really hoping for something that would resemble what Benzos feel like, if they were fun and probably mixed with the drunken feeling and a bit of a euphoria that would be akin to phenibut but that wasn't the case. I felt some tiredness, sedation and I felt heavier but nothing as heavy as alp. Ended up smoking hash 2hrs in and passed out about 40 minutes after, around 10pm. I slept like a baby but woke up around 4, fell back asleep (very light sleep) and kept waking up intermittently up until 6am when I finally got up for work.
The only upside I felt in comparison to Benzos, getting up was easy and I didn't feel groggy/foggy whatsoever.
I wish I had more to say about it but unfortunately that was it.

Okay so... in no way is this a suggestion IN FACT, the lack of information on this particular drug combo continues to perplex me and since miltown is becoming less and less popular as an anxiolytic, no one bothers to research the effects in combo with newer formulation drugs. As an opioid, taking O-DSMT is a risk in combo with a depressant but Iβve surrounded myself with many forms of safety pre cautions including a trip sitter, and living 5 minutes from the ER, and itβs only been about 20 minutes since I took 50mg of O-DSMT(more potent than its less attractive sister tramadol) and 1600mg meprobamate. I may have found one of the best, exhilarating, euphoric, itchy, relaxing, and everything you could ever imagine as a perfect trip. Once again, DO NOT try this at home.
Do we know or have case studies? We know soma and milltown can substitute for pentobarbital so how many mg of soma equals 100 mg of secobarbital?
I've used meprobamate in the form of painkillers to help with my emotional pain. It's the most helpful drug I've taken for that, and I've tried both benzos and opiates, none make me feel better.
I can't access the painkillers anymore because I need a script, but I can access zolpidem, valium and xanax. Are any of these similar in action to meprobamate?
Whenever I've been in severe emotional pain, like now, Stilpane has been my go to drug. But considering the only difference between it and other painkillers is the meprobamate.
I've done some research and apparently it's not really around anymore, but if they do still manufacture it on it's own, I'd love to get my hands on some.

I was researching the carbamates today and wondered if a conversion of carisoprodol to meprobamate was possible, in the same manner as say- codeine to morphine by demethylation using pyridine? There seems to be an abundance of cheap, south-east Asian carisoprodol floating around the market and it makes one wonder if you can turn something into something even more wonderful.
I finally got to try some MPP, the non carbamate version of Meprobamate - supposedly similar to Carisoprodol.
Flaky crystals, kinda looks like a 50/50 mix of fine and coarse salt that has become a little moist, as in lots of the small crystals stick to the bigger rocks, some have formed clusters of the small ones too, in general it looks kinda moisturized in a way, maybe hygroscopic ?
I began with a βmicrodoseβ for safety reasons. 5mg or so, no effects.
A few hours later, +82mg.
Starting to feel the effects slightly, slightly benzo like ?
Another 82mgs + ~25mg and a few hours later:
Definite relaxation, especially in the muscles. More like baclofen or soma than most benzos, more of a couchlocked drug than an "im disinhibited and will do fucked up shit" Drug for sure.
During the beginning of the last mgs hitting I felt a little shaky, however that mightβve very well been from not eating enough. Basically had no dinner.
Im also under the influence of a few mild Opioid doses. The combination is awesome, maybe someone of you has done a good muscle relaxant with Opis before and knows the joy.
Not something to recommend in general tho, its a combo with a strong potential for problems with CNS depression - staying away from such combos is the way generally speaking.
Iβll test more soon and make sure to post about it again. So far I feel like thereβs room for higher doses. It feels equivalent to maybe 350mg or so of Carisoprodol for now, however its really been some time since I had soma and im on Opioids, so maybe its actually less potent and my current view on it is just inherently predetermined for the evening.
So as you guys probably know, for every Carbamate Sedative, there is a respective Alcohol. A simple example would be emylcamate and 3-Methyl-3-Pentanol, both are sedatives - emylcamate is (allegedly) very similar to meprobamate, I even had the luck to talk to a guy who already tried it before. Now this List is gigantic, Ethinamate is an example where the respective alcohol has seemingly been sold online before.
If we look at placidyl for example, its one of the cases where the alcohol is used, not the carbamate like its usually the case.
However, what made me write this post is 2-Methyl-2-Propyl-1,3 Propanediol (The Alcohol thats used in making meprobamate, aka the respective miltown alcohol). I have the option of buying it, and while I first was afraid of the alcohols having some weird side effects, it seems like they are generally just a lot like their carbamate counterparts but with shorter onset and less duration.
Since 2M2Bs Carbamate allegedly is very very similar to 2M2B I think that this one might be THE next big sedative out there (on the RC Market in particular, with benzos being banned here and there vendors have to resort to either alcohols, carbamates or barbiturates which is a development currently seen in benzo banning countries) I have a question.
Will 2-Methyl-2-Propyl-1,3-Propanediol be like Meprobamate or not ? I know that this question is impossible to answer for almost everybody, but since I've met the craziest people on reddit before and I know that this subreddit is full of mad people like myself I thought why not ask.
I figured that since seemingly nobody who tried these alcohols seems to report vastly different effects from the more classic carbamate medicinal sedatives its probably going to be very similar if not exactly alike, however I've yet to see anybody who tried both the Alcohol and Carbamate version of a single particular Drug.
Help and Tips are highly sought after.
Oh and also please dont ask me about the source for the alcohol, if you want to you can definitely find it and you know the rules.
And another thing I wanted to add its that the potential of these things is just gigantic. There are so many things in these categories, its near impossible to ban them all without a UK-like law. The only real problem is that they are much much more prone to killing people than benzos especially if sold as RCs but since they are usually way way less potent than the benzos I think that that'll balance itself.

I just need some advice on dealing with codeine and meprobamate withdrawal.
I've been clean for 43 days. I don't miss the feeling it gave me but I used to drink approximately 400mg of codeine and 4500mg of meprobamate daily for the past 10 years.
So the issue is, I feel snappy and I don't have patience and I just get so angry.
Is there anyone out there who felt this way and how long did it take to feel normal again?
Or maybe it's just me and this is the new normal cause I can't remember how I felt 10 years ago before I started drinking the pills.
I was wondering how many people here have tried it and what's your experience with it? I've read through all the posts on Reddit and I do mean every single one meprobamate and carisoprodol related but still I feel there's more to know and I'd love to hear personal experiences.
I'm not sure why I'm so interested in it probably because it's an older now obscure medicine rarely ever prescribed (as of recent years) that wasn't a barb or benzo so it's just fascinating to me.
I understand I'll probably never get to true it in the pure form unless I get lucky so my best bet is probably carisoprodol with some kind of inducer to get more meprobamate but yeah.

Ok so i know it sounds crazy because of it being banned drug in every country i know of, and because of my username, but i juste "found" a 100g bottle of meprobamate raw pure powder. Its real meprobamate no dout on that, just expired in 2001 haha.
I know it's not an rc but it's become so rare that at this point this is the only community i feel comfortable asking.
My question is : anyone any advice ? Does not seem as water soluble as expected, can you snort it ?
Meprobamate is my main desired drug that's actually, technically still available in the US (though just barely, and probably in very limited supply). I'm curious about carbamates and I highly suspect I'd adore it, as I'm a downer girl, enjoy strong depressants with more of a 'body high' and have a genetic variation such that I metabolize benzos faster, leading to somewhat underwhelming effects (though I've only had Ativan so far, and eszopiclone which is basically-but-not-technically a benzo and which does work for me, but that's beside the point). Anyway, I'd probably squeal in delight and wet myself if I managed to get my hands on any, as unlikely as that seems. I do suffer from actual debilitating GAD.
There were a few users on here a while back, as revealed by a search, that claimed to have taken legitimately obtained meprobamate recently-ish. One in particular stands out as he claimed to have been in his 20s. I highly suspect that most of the few remaining meprobamate prescriptions today are dispensed to older people, seniors who started on it back in the day and developed decades-long dependencies whose long-term doctors don't want to taper off and switch to benzos. Honestly, that's probably about the only reason it's still on the market these days, I would imagine.
To get to the point, does anyone on here who isn't in that older demographic have or have had a legit meprobamate script in the last several years? Or any ideas for a scenario in which a younger person (say, in their 20s or early 30s) might possibly obtain such a script?
There's only one possible path that I can think of that seems even remotely plausible, and it seems like quite a long shot:
- Have severe anxiety/panic that hasn't responded well to any of the non-benzo options.
- Take Soma (or claim to have taken Soma) for back pain, after an accident/surgery or some such.
- Mention to psychiatrist at length how carisoprodol was more helpful for your anxiety than anything else you've ever tried before, and that you know it metabolizes into meprobamate...
- Get meprobamate script? Maybe?
- Enjoy feeling like a 50s housewife made out of jelly?
Of course, this implies both having a lot of trust built with a very flexible/understanding psychiatrist and having tried the typical benzos before, as it seems that in such a case most psychs would be much more likely to just prescribe a benzo. Does anyone know anything about this? Meprobamate is a weird drug, a barbiturate analog, brand names Miltown and Equanil. I've been taking 1200 to 1600 milligrams at work 3-5 days a week and I'm worried about physical dependence. I haven't gotten any definitive symptoms from not taking it except for a vague feeling of uneasiness. I'm wondering if anyone knows about the potential for addiction because it seems there's very little information about this drug.
I'm so disgusted. We had a old lady rushed into our LTC pharmacy service over a weekend who has been on Meprobamate for likely half her life thanks to some asshole psych doc! Thank goodness they had a small amount of their home medication to cover them until we could get some in, but geez, please tell there aren't quacks prescribing this for anyone but the old biddies they got hooked on this in the 1970s! I hate to say it, but I sure hope for the patient's sake that the US doesn't follow Canada and Europe and pull it from the market. She'll die of DTs before they could likely wean them off it...
So I have access to pills containing a low dose of codeine (8mg) and meprobamate, but wanted to know whether the mepro high is worth it before spending the $$$. How does it compare to benzos? All I can find online is talk of "Miltown parties" in the 1950s, lol.
I currently have a prescription for Fioricet (butalbital) and love it. It blows benzos out of the water IMO. Anyone know how meprobamate compares to butalbital? How hard is staying awake on it? I don't want to be asleep...just "loose" and carefree :)

All I know is that 800 mg feels nice af and it tastes almost exactly like quinine. I just got my hands on a decent supply of it and I'm curious because I can find almost nothing in the literature. One thing I'm curious about is that I heard tale that it's a CYP450 inducer. I can't really find much to confirm that. I'm interested in any factoids you have though. NCBI has almost nothing to offer.
