Brodie Lee Memorial Cup

I think AEW should have a yearly tournament in honor of Brodie. My idea would be do like a G1 style competition over a period of time with the finals being at a major PPV. Hopefully it catches on and the fans love it and one day -1 will be the winner any thoughts on the idea. I think it would be a nice tournament to elevate mid level talent and start interesting storylines

Other than the obvious of playing the memorial cup and getting drafted. Is there any difference between starting BAP in the memorial cup or directly on a team? Is there any significant dialogue that will be missed if you dont do the cup? I want to play with custom rosters but I think the fact that your BAP is undrafted is kind of lame

The Brodie Lee Memorial Cup

In the NWA, they had a show dubbed the Jim Crockett Sr Memorial Cup, I was thinking that maybe AEW could do something like that. Have the show be a showcase of Indie talent and the AEW roster, with a portion of the revue going to help support Brodie’s family and to help keep Mr Brodie Lee’s memory alive for generations of wrestling fans to come.

Also I hope y’all don’t see this as a way of capitalizing on the tragedy that was Mr Brodie Lee’s passing. I just see it as a good way to help keep his memory alive and well and to help out his family.
