A list of puns related to "Melinda Name"
I guess that's what you call Gatekeeping
On season 4, episode 13 of The Good Wife, "The Seven Day Rule", David Lee discusses how handling >!the Neil Gross prenup!< may earn the firm his wife's business, independent of his own. He specifically namechecks the Gates Foundation. When this episode aired, of course, the Gates couple was still together. Now that they've split, this discussion in the context of a prenup >!(and the subsequent divorce)!< takes on a whole new context. Of course, the recent Bezos divorce also reflects on the scenario as it unfolded on the show.

My name is Melinda Sparkton, and Iβm a realtor. Iβve been selling houses now for about five years, and Iβm pretty good at what I do. I donβt know why or how, but I always seem to find the perfect people for my listings.
Got a short sale you need to unload? Well Iβve got a client who loves home reno. Got a lovely little starter home? I know a family whoβs perfect for that! Iβd like to think itβs my dedication and talent for these kinds of things. Iβm good at reading people. Always have been, I suppose. I just seem to have a sixth sense about it; an intuition, maybe, that Iβve learned to listen to in my time.
I love my job. Every time I tour a new house and think on how to stage it or to photograph it in just the right light, I take my time. I like to run my hands along the walls, feeling the different textures as I wonder what the people who lived here were like. I imagine what they thought, hoped, and dreamed when they were alone. If these walls could talk Iβm sure they could tell some really tall tales. Heck, even the walls of my own home could tell stories about how Iβd successfully potty trained my cat, that one time Iβd accidentally dyed my hair blue, or how Iβd eaten an entire carton of ice cream on my couch in under an hour while crying after I broke up with my long term boyfriend, only to be rescued by my best friend who pulled me up and took me out to dinner.
A couple of weeks ago, I took some photos of an older house, one that had recently come up on the market. The young family that lived here wanted out and in a hurry, though they didnβt say why. Maybe someone scored a new job? I let my mind wander as I started photographing their spare bedroom. It contained a neatly made full sized bed, Cherrywood dresser, and a modest walk in closet with matching Cherrywood accordion doors. A gyro twin ceiling fan hung from the ceiling. Excellent!! That would be something great to show off. As I backed up as far as I could, I bumped into the wall beside the closet, nearly dropping my camera. I chuckled to myself as the initial thrill of terror at the thought of breaking my camera faded. Did I mention I sometimes let my thoughts wander?
I turned to exit and I saw a small girl of about seven or eight standing in the doorway looking petrified. Her white t-shirt was smudged with dirt, her knees under her jean shorts were scabby and she was crying. I audibly gasped; I had thought the owners were out for the day though they knew I was c
