In The Exorcist (1973), Max von Sydow plays an elderly priest. As Sydow was only 44, it took them 4 hours in makeup every time so heβd look old enough. They did such a good job he had trouble finding work for several years after because everyone thought he was too old. He died March 8, 2020 at 90.

I really liked his performances. He seemed humble, warm and down to earth.

Guys, how much excitement and joy when you first heard Max Von Sydow's voice in the announcement trailer back on the 14th of December, 2011, when he says "You should've acted they're already there"?
I was very young back then, I couldn't even remember hearing someone saying "The Elder Scrolls" or "Skyrim". Sure we all know, that the internet existed back then, but I was very young back then, I was unaware that the internet even existed. My younger self couldn't even play Oblivion, because of my unawareness. So, I can't feel the excitement about the upcoming game that will release in 2011. But, how much excitement did you guys feel when this game was announced?

The Black Hole (1979) was Walt Disney's first PG rated film, it was a box office flop but it has a great score by John Barry, great special effects, very good acting by Max Von Sydow, Ernest Borgnine... and an interesting story.
