A list of puns related to "Max Rockatansky"
Max Rockatansky, what more is there to say that his quote already hasnβt. A former police officer, his wife and kid were murdered in cold blood by a gang of radicalized street thugs. And if that wasnβt bad enough, the apocalypse began shortly after. Through a mixture of wars, nuclear bombings, and resource scarcity, the world fell to mass anarchy, and the oceans dried up. He roams what remains of Australia, a desert wasteland, from one mistake to the next.

Round 1: Mad Max 1 Max (with goose)
Round 2: Road Warrior Max
Round 3: Fury Road Max
Lets say they take place in the same universe, and Max's side is not really the post apocalypse, That's just how Australia looks.
Indy makes the trek there to steal retrieve Some ancient artifact to put it in a museum. He commandeers a vehicle and enough supplies to get him through the wasteland and back. He arrives at the cave where the artifact is suposed to be, only for Max to cut him off in his own ride. He wants the same piece to trade it for food and water, and one has to go through the other to get it.
Who would win?
Max is allowed to use his car and all of his weapons and the raiders have to only rely on the main leaders of all three raider factions and their forces plus porter gage
So Iβve come up with some survivor perk concepts for the one and only Max :p
Theyβre based on the game Mad Max that came out in 2015, as under each of his perks is a quote said by Griffa whoβs from the game, and some assume him to be just an image that Max made up in his head to keep himself from falling apart.
Max Rockatansky
A drifter of sands, willing to do anything to survive and reach his destination.
His personal perks Bruiser, Lone Wanderer, and Soul of a Man, make it extremely difficult to take him out for good, and provide him with the means to go toe to toe with his enemies.
Bruiser:
When the Killer attacks you right in your front, you will take the damage but you will also stun the Killer for 4 seconds. This perk can be triggered once every 40/25/10 seconds.
βYou have grown into a violent thing. A man of solitude drifting across these sands, fearing those who make you human.β βGriffa
Lone Wanderer:
When there have been no other Survivors within a 32m range of you for 60/50/40 seconds, you can activate this perk while staying still to rest up and recover from all negative timed effects that you are suffering from and heal up from injured state.
βYou say you seek the Plains of Silence, but do you not wander them right now?β βGriffa
Soul of a Man:
Nothing can keep you down. Nothing. Once per trial, when you are in the dying state, you can choose to gain the ability to instantly recover from the dying state on your own for 1 time/2 times/3 times, but you will remain in the Uneasy state for the rest of the trial. (Uneasy: Your location will be regularly revealed to the Killer.)
NOTE: The Uneasy effect that you get from this perk cannot be recovered from via any meansβfor it is not you whoβs feeling uneasy, itβs the doing of The Entity, as a punishment, for you have ignored its rules by showing this kind of unyieldingness.
βYour road and mine will soon be one... And you will be reborn a man greater than his fears.β βGriffa
So what do you guys think? Do you think these perks are OP or decent or utter garbage? Be sure to leave a reply and let me know! Thanks :)
Which world produces a more dangerous driver, the street racing scene in LA or the nuclear war ravaged wasteland of post apocalyptic Australia? Who wins in a battle between Dominic Toretto and Max Rockatansky?
Fights start in downtown Las Vegas. Wins by death/ko/incap.
Round 1: Fist fight. Both can use whatever weapons they come across.
Round 2: Demolition derby. Dom has his Charger and Max has his Interceptor. Neither can leave the city limits until the other is defeated.
Round 3: Race from Las Vegas to Los Angeles with a violent motorcycle gang trying to stop them half way through. They can interfere with one another as much as possible but can't kill each other. Killing the other racer is an automatic disqualification. Who gets there first?
SPOILERS FOR THE END OF MAD MAX: FURY ROAD:

Someone asked in a comment why Max didn't pass out or die when he gave Furiosa a blood transfusion considering that he was like super low on blood after "topping off" Nux from earlier.
I read a fan theory that unlike Immortan Joe, Max really cannot die. /u/EldarCorsair goes on to suggest that Max is death incarnate and a member of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, a hypothesis I don't believe the movie fully supports (he's a universal donor, giving life instead of taking it away). I think that theory would have much more credence if Max were an old man played by Mel Gibson, which would put him in the same age group as the three main villains: Immortan Joe, People Eater and Bullet Farmer. There would be great thematic significance to an Old Max helping the younger generation destroy the decayed remnants of his own. But Max isn't an old man. So what is he?
There's evidence that the movie takes place 40 years after the apocalypse, but Max, who was a cop before the world ended, doesn't look much older than 40. The reason he's still so young looking is that he's been cursed with immortality, to wander the wasteland like Johnny Appleseed, bringing down patriarchal tyrants and ravenous biker gangs while preserving civilization where he finds it, so it can grow anew.
If Max were deathless, this could explain why he's so crazy. He has sixty-plus years of memory but can't reconcile it with his reality since he's still a young person. He probably thinks he's in Hell, reliving the same shit over-and-over again, unaware of his real purpose. It's quite possible Immortan Joe's cult was building off of Max's legend, an Immortal Road Warrior. Joe is the false messiah, claiming to be the hero of those myths, unaware that Max really exists. Max's healing of Furiosa in the end was a miracle.
From The Last Of Us and Mad Max respectively.
Round 1: Both characters with their game/film equipment and skills in a normal battle. Joel at the height of his power with all the game's upgrades, Max with the Interceptor and his guns.
Round 2: Max has Ellie, for some reason. Joel is bloodlusted.
Round 3: Joel stole the Interceptor. Max is bloodlusted.
Bonus round: The Fireflies take on Immortan Joe's army, who prevails?
And it could be for comic Rick or TV, just who ever you feel more knowledgeable using.
Round one: a fight to the death in... THE THUNDER DOME.
Round 2: Who would last longer if they swapped worlds?
Round III: who is more crazy/unstable?
The name says it all - the ruthless, cold-blooded Predators now have a new prey to catch... the man who wanders the apocalyptic deserts of Australia known as "Mad Max". Who wins out here?
Conditions:
*This is a strict 1 vs 1 fight - no help from Furiosa and her people for Max; no help from other Predators
*Fight is set in Max's post-apocalyptic desert world so... a mix of wide open expanses and rocky cliffs and crags
*Both sides have access to all known arsenals they carry (so for Max this would be his iconic shotgun as well as any other weapons he used in the series but not his Interceptor car; for Predator this includes his plasma weaponry, invisibility cloak, etc.)
I was making my fallout 4 character designed as Mad Rockatasky, and I was shocked when Codsworth addressed me as "Mr. Rockatasky". My jaw literally dropped. I'm guessing there are a few fans of the movies over at Bethesda?
