I know when people talk about best performances in the ring, they think about Ali-Williams, Floyd-Canelo, Toney-Barkley, Starling-Honeyghan, Locche-Fuji, etc etc etc.
BUT! those are only the sweet science part of the sport. People who are known to have beautiful boxing skills can only put up a show like that.. that's why there exist "Punchers". Punchers can't do that sh*t. They can't make fashy move or making an opponent miss 5 punches a row type of stuff.. but they can only off the brutal part of the sport, "Beautiful Brutality" (at least that's how I call it) So if you wanna see plain destruction performances in the ring where the fighter just beat the crap outta their opponent, here's my recommendations for you.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

When Dallas drafted a cornerback in the second round this year, it was all but assumed that Kentucky’s Kelvin Joseph would start ahead of either Anthony Brown on the outside or Jourdan Lewis on the inside. Same goes for Nahshon Wright, Dallas’ third-round pick.
Surely the team wouldn’t go into the season with a Trevon Diggs-Brown-Lewis starting defensive backfield, right?
As it turns out, Brown and Lewis have played an integral part of the Cowboys’ turnaround on defense.
In fact, those three barely leave the field. Their snap counts include:
- Anthony Brown: 923 snaps on defense, good for 98.19 percent of the team’s defensive snaps;
- Trevon Diggs: 890 snaps, 94.68 percent
- Jourdan Lewis: 703 snaps, 74.79 percent
As for the two rookies? It’s been hard for them to get on the field:
- Kelvin Joseph: 14 snaps, 1.49 percent
- Nahshon Wright: 5 snaps, 0.53 percent
Those numbers should drastically change today for at least one of those players.
Lewis is expected to miss today’s game after testing positive for COVID. The only other option at the slot corner position is Maurice Canady, who just came off the injury report (along with safety Donovan Wilson Jr.).
Therefore, there’s a good chance either Joseph or Wright will start against Washington, or, at the very least, both will receive extensive playing time.
Which one? The smart money is on Joseph, as he was the higher draft pick. If Wright starts, then that could mean one of two things: Either the team is high on Wright, or the team isn’t impressed with Joseph.
A former LSU CB, Joseph was one of the last corners this past draft who was thought good enough to start right away. Five CBs went in the first round: Jaycee Horn (8 to Carolina), Patrick Surtain II (9-Denver), Caleb Farley (22-Tennessee), Greg Newsome (26-Cleveland) and Eric Stokes (29-Green Bay).
Then Stokes’ Georgia teammate was the next corner to go, with Jacksonville taking Tyson Campbell early in the second round at pick No. 33. Eleven picks later, Joseph went to Dallas at pick No. 44. One other CB was taken in the second round, the Los Angeles Chargers’ Asante Samuel Jr., who was the No. 47 overall pick.
There was a sizeable gap between the next wave of corners, with Aaron Robinson the next CB to be drafted at pick No. 71 overall to the New York Giants.

Packer fans were pretty devastated upon hearing that UW-Madison’s highly celebrated DC Jim Leonhard turned down the Packers’ offer to be a DC in the NFL. We were ESPECIALLY devastated when we quickly learned that our second choice was… Joe Barry. The same Joe Barry who went 17-32 as DC for the WFT in 2015-16 and, perhaps more notably, was DC for the infamous 0-16 Lions…

That being said, besides his choices in ST coordinators, LaFleur’s coaching picks have been pretty stellar, and he seems quite high on Barry. The copium we’ve been selling ourselves is that Barry was DC for some dumpster fire teams (no offense) that had very little talent-wise and didn’t just have defensive woes (no OFFENSE). Jumping into a top offensive team that has the best shutdown corner in the league (fear him), some good talent at Safety with Amos & Savage, and studs like Kenny Clark, Rashan Gary (look out for him this year) and Za’Darius Smith on the line… Well, it’s pretty ideal for a new DC. The fact that he had run the LB squad of one of the more successful defenses of the past few years and the fact that his players all seem to love him gives us a bit of hope for Joe Barry as well. However, given his history, many are still rightfully skeptical.

The players have already talked about how energetic and passionate Barry is, and thus far, he’s carried himself well in interviews and on the field. I appreciate what Barry himself said in his first interview here, “I would hope 36-year-old Joe Barry is a lot different than 50-year-old Joe Barry”. So, let’s see what you got, Joe!
New Special Teams Coordinator: Maurice Drayton - He spent the last three seasons as an assistant special teams coach with us.
- The only way our special teams could get worse is if it turns out that Drayton had been the one running our ST for the last couple seasons. This is admittedly why hiring an in-house ST coordinator gives me pause. However, like Barry, Drayton really won over some Packer fans in his initial press conferences, so we’re willing to give him a shot. At the very least, we can still thank the football gods for good ol’ Mason Crosby - who made every regular-season FG attempt last year.
