It's a crappy pic cause I was initially ashamed of it, but since Father's Day fell on my birthday this year, I did a half chocolate raspberry, half matcha (green tea) cake. Pro tip: NEVER attempt piping flowers with coconut oil-based frosting. Being short on time doesn't help either :(

Where do you buy bulk matcha green tea powder without getting ripped off?
Greetings.
My usual go-to place to buy matcha green tea powder is Fujiya on Clark Drive but they stopped selling the bigger gram bags. I usually get a 400g bag ($23.99) but that hasn't been in stock for 4months. Two months ago I got the next biggest size (200g at $14.69) but that's not in stock either from my visit today. They only have 40g or 30g tiny tins for $7.79 now which seems expensive considering the bulk item prices.
I searched up places that sell matcha green tea powder in the lower mainland but the only reasonably priced place that sells it is at Costco for $19.99 for 200g.
Does anyone know of any places that sells matcha green tea powder for a reasonable price?
PS. I don't need the nice ceremonial grade stuff. I just need basic culinary level powder for my drinks.

Could any green tea leaves be theoretically ground into a powder and mixed with water to achieve a โmatchaโ like effect?
I understand that this may be tea sacrilege, but Iโm curious if anyone tried powderizing any green teas other than tencha and whether or not it produced a tasty cup. Thanks in advance!

Somebody ordered a tall iced green tea latte with almond milk, lemonade and 12 scoops of matcha powder.
I had to add extra liquid just so it wasnโt just slightly damp powder and ice in a cup. I havenโt been able to put it out of my mind since I made it. I hope that customer is doing ok.

Quit green tea/matcha AND CHOCOLATE?
Hi all,
I think I need to quit caffeine but I really EnJoY dark chocolate. I can replace tea with herbal because I enjoy the comfort of tea. But chocolate is my favourite food and there are many benefits to cacao. It is my dads favourite food. I think itโs genetic lol.
I guess I am worried I will feel like I am missing something I truly enjoy?
Has anyone had this experience?

What Not your motherโs shampoo is the best fit for low porosity, mid density 2B/2C hair with protein overload that hates coconut? Iโm in doubt between the Matcha green tea & Apple blossom line or the Sicilian blood orange & black current line!
