A list of puns related to "Matanuska Susitna Borough, Alaska"
Samantha Koenig, an 18-year-old woman, was reported missing on February 2, 2012. At the time, sheβd been living in Anchorage, Alaska. She was reported missing by her father at roughly 1:00 PM that day, after sheβd failed to reappear after sheβd locked up Common Grounds Espresso (the place where she worked) around 8:00 PM the previous night. Her boyfriend had been planning to pick her up after work that night, but when he got there, Koenig was nowhere to be found.
When police checked surveillance footage from Common Grounds Espresso, it immediately became obvious that Koenig had been abducted. The video shows Samantha finishing her shift and closing up for the night, when an armed intruder breaks into the coffee shop by climbing in through the window. The intruder, armed with a pistol, then forces Koenig to leave with him.
It was soon noticed that Samantha had recently attempted to file for a protective order against one of her ex-boyfriends. The ex-boyfriend and his family soon became the target of a steady stream of harassment and death threats. The harassment escalated to such an extent that the family was eventually forced to leave Alaska and relocate to another state.

James was shocked and horrified when he found out that he was the primary suspect with regards to his daughterβs disappearance. He stopped speaking to investigators after that, which only confirmed to investigators that he was involved.
