A list of puns related to "Martin Duffy"
1 Jacksonville Jaguars (Evan Neal OT, Alabama)
Jaguars could go with either EDGE or OL in this first spot, one of them protects the most important part of their franchise, the other does not. I love Thibs and think he will be a very good player wherever he lands but making sure Lawrence doesn’t go the luck route should be the #1 priority and I think Neal is the best OT in the draft.
2 Detroit Lions (Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon)
I originally wanted Hutch to go here. He has a high motor, works very hard, and feels like the guy for a dan Campbell team, though I feel like Thibodeaux is a better player and will be the superstar for the lions on defense going forward. Though it would be fun to see the Michigan guy stay, he just doesn't seem as appealing as the star edge from Oregon.
3 Houston Texans (Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan)
The Texans should be absolutely jacked with this pick. They need help at nearly every position on the field and a future defensive star is exactly where you look for this pick. I understand the want to give the Texans a lineman with the projection of Ikem Ekwonu but i feel O-line is the position that the Texans need the least, especially with 2x Pro Bowler Laremy Tunsil, who they traded their franchise for a few years ago
4 Carolina Panthers (Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State)TRADE1
The Panthers need OT BAD. The Panthers are currently sitting just out of range of the 2 best tackles in the draft, and with a relatively low price to go from Charles Cross to Ikem Ekwonu, who many consider to be the best OT in the draft, it is an easy decision to make and never have to make again with your starting LT for the future. And yea I get that most mocks have them going with QBs but they are sticking to Darnold this year and aren't shy about it. He gets his final shot this year before becoming CFL legend Sam Darnold.
5 New York Giants (Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State)
I wanted to go with George Karlaftis here, but after looking through some comments on the Giants sub and taking into account the team's apparent hope to stay with Danny Dimes (for now at least), They need to finally get their other tackle. Andrew Thomas has had an alright-good year (from what I’ve heard) but the rest of that line is really bad, if they plan on giving Jones the same treatment I expect the panthers to give Darnold, gotta go with the best OL available (other than Linderbaum because no center should go 5th overall). I think this is a reach but
... keep reading on reddit ➡My first mock draft of the season - with trades. Two rounds, with blurbs for each pick in the first.
Draft order from Tankathon.
JAX (1.01) - Kayvon Thibodeaux, EDGE, Oregon
The Jags go for the most talented edge in the class, with interest on Hutchinson cooling slightly after being largely shut down in the Orange Bowl against Georgia. Kayvon has an insane ceiling due to his physical tools, and Jacksonville will be salivating at Kayvon and Josh Allen coming off the edges and terrorising quarterbacks for years to come
DET (1.02) - Aiden Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan
Hutchinson has had an incredibly dominant season in his senior year, and the Lions just go best player available, after deciding to give Jarrod Goff another year as starting quarterback. The senior has dominated most of the defences he's played this year, and will be a asset and cornerstonein the Lions defence.
HOU (1.03) - Evan Neal
Houston decide to give Davis Mills another year starting after showing some promise down the stretch, and shore up protection around him by drafting Neal, and absolute monster who can play anywhere on the line. Neal will be a day 1 starter who will shore up a weak Houston o-line.
NYJ (1.04) - Derek Stingley Jr, CB, LSU
The Jets find themselves in a tough spot. The lack of promising QB's means it's hard to find a suitor to trade down, which would be the ideal option at this spot. The Jets end up picking Stingley a lot earlier than they would have liked. Ikem Okwonu provides an intriguing option, but the Jets opt to continue with the promising George Fant and talented Mekhi Becton at the tackles. Stingley has all the physical tools, but has been inconsistent after a standout freshman year, and will likely improve his stock after a stand-out combine. The Jets hope he can be a worthy investment and become a star outside cornerback.
NYG (1.05) - Ikem Okwonu, OT, NC State
In Andrew Thomas, the Giants have a nice, long term piece in the trenches. That, however, is where the positives end for New York's offensive line. The whole rest of the line has major question marks, and none of them really have deserved their spot. The Giants take the dynamic Okwonu to play opposite Thomas at Tackle, providing a solid pair to protect Jones for likely his last shot at taking the starting job.
CAR (1.06) - Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
Carolina also opt to improve their dreadful offensive line, with the strong tackle out of Mississippi State. With one of the

-1': A minute's silence and applause for the late Roger Hunt. Arsenal to kick off.
1': Brighton miss out on a loose ball and Saka gets away on the right. Skips past two defenders in the box before letting off a weak shot straight at Sanchez.
2': The Amex is like a cauldron as the crowd whistle Arsenal until they put the ball out so that Trossard can get treatment.
5': Arsenal manage to break past the Brighton press twice but don't manage to create anything either time.
6': Brighton steal the ball before Arsenal can recycle and try to play it forward straight away. Arsenal comfortably recover the ball.
8': Both teams adopted a pretty similar approach to pressing in this game and it's leading to a lot of passing between the defenders.
10': Arsenal do well to get the ball into the final third but lose it when Ayubameyang tries to dribble though. The ball eventually gets cleared for a Brighton throw on the halfway line.
11': Brighton get the ball back from a cheap giveaway and again try to quickly play Maupay in behind.
12': Arsenal get a soft free kick and Partey passes it straight to Sanchez.
14': Ben White gets a big cheer as he clears the ball out for a throw in like a donkey. Brighton fashion a good attack out from the throw with Cucurella delivering a strong cross in behind the line that goes out for a corner.

Upon ascending to the presidency, Van Buren immediately had to deal with a high degree of polarization. A man who could have been a powerful ally, General Jackson threw his weight behind the anti-electoral college movement within months of the inauguration. By mid-August, the anti-college movement was demanding a congressional investigation into the institution.
In the midst of the social movement, Van Buren attempted to focus on administration goals. He appointed talented men such as Livingston and Rush to his cabinet, and set immediately to expanding foreign trade and paying the debt down. He won approved for a slightly modified form of his debt plan in early 1826 after yielding to the demands to appoint a Congressional commission.
Throughout 1826, Van Buren tried his best to downplay the electoral college controversy as he looked with increasing dismay to the midterms. His agenda was stalled, and fortunes did not look bright for the Democratic-Republicans; sure enough, the National Union party won an outright majority of House seats and came close to capturing the Senate. With over 40% of the Congress opposed to the college and several moderates willing to support them, the investigation would continue.
In early 1827, Livingston presented a new treaty to the Senate for ratification. He had negotiated a treaty with the Mexican emperor Agustín regarding the boundary between the two countries. He conceded American claims to the country of Tejas in exchange for a large window to the Pacific Ocean (OTL Adams-Onís treaty borders). The Senate ratified it by a large majority in early March.
In April of 1827, Representative Benton and his commission presented their findings to the Congress and the public. Benton's report concluded that the electoral college was not entirely representative of the people's will, but there was no conclusive evidence to scrap it. Instead, the commission recommended a reform to assign the electoral votes of each state by popular vote percentage.
Many National Unionists, including Clay and Johnson, accepted this is a reasonable compromise. After a period of long consideration, Van Buren reluctantly agreed to support it

Using tankathon for draft order. Lots of weird eligibility designations in this class.
1 Lions: Kayvon Thibodeaux OLB JR Oregon
I'm not going to be a contrarian here. I wouldn't be surprised if Dan Campbell and his staff are all fired after that debacle against the Bears - like Steve Wilks in Arizona - but I'm going to pick as if they'll be retained another season. The lack of an edge rush has been apparent all season and Thibodeaux (6'5 258) would be a plug and play impact starter. Thibodeaux has a lot of similarities to Myles Garrett coming out of Texas A&M, though he's not quite as heavy.
2 Texans: Aidan Hutchinson DE SR Michigan
Lovie Smith has the Texans defense playing surprisingly well this season. Jon Greenard has developed into a solid starting end on one side, but they have a glaring hole at their other defensive end. Hutchinson (6'6 265) would make for a great pair of book-ends, he might remind McNair/Easterby of Watt, and though he doesn't play with the same power he has a similar motor and length.
3 Jaguars: Jordan Davis DT SR Georgia
Jordan Davis (6'6 340) would be a great fit for the Jaguars 3-4 under Joe Cullen. Davis is less polished than former top 5 pick Derrick Brown, but he is more of a freak athlete. A lot of detractors cite PFF grades and pass rush ability, but NFL coaches will see the athlete and believe they can coach up his game. I think Davis has a lot of room to grow, and his background as a basketball player who started playing football relatively late in his high school support that. He plays with fantastic effort and hustle which further supports his developmental upside.
4 Jets: Derek Stingley Jr CB JR LSU
Kyle Hamilton may be more of the freak athlete, but cornerback is a more premium position, and Stingley Jr. (6'1 195) has been playing at an extremely high level since his freshman year at LSU. It's hard to argue against his value as he should be a high level starter from the get go.
5 Evan Neal T JR Alabama
Hopefully, the Jets have found their RG going forward in Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. That said, Morgan Moses is only on a 1 year contract and Mekhi Becton has had issues staying healthy. Neal (6'7 357) has been overrated a little bit in my opinion. He's had some struggles with speed and maintaining leverage against shorter rushers. He's a better fit at right tackle than left, but that would be his fit here. The best thing the Jets can do to help Zach Wilson is get the run game going, and Neal is a

1. Jags - Kayvon Thibodeaux EDGE Oregon
With Cam Robinson potentially leaving in FA, they could consider Neal here. But the upside of pairing Thibs with Josh Allen is too high to pass up.
2. Lions - Aidan Hutchinson EDGE Michigan
The Lions get some much needed effort getting at the passer with the local kid.
3. TRADE: Broncos (from Texans) - Matt Corral QB Ole Miss
The Broncos trade a 2023 1st and maybe a 2nd too, not sure what it would take with the Houston Texans. They have a contender level roster in a loaded division and need to get ahead of Carolina and potential trade up candidates like WFT, Pitt, etc. to secure a QB. As for the Texans, they need to make up for the loss of capital that Bill O'Brien bled out of the organization. They have a ton of holes and can still get a top 10 player.
4. Jets - Kyle Hamilton S Notre Dame
Saleh will be salivating at the chance to scheme up a safety with as much versatility as Hamilton. They might have gone corner, and could still address it later, but their young CB's have played above expectation this season.
5. Giants - Evan Neal OT Alabama
What luck, this is a dream scenario for NY who needs serious help on the line of scrimmage.
6. Panthers - Ikem Ekwonu OT NC State
With Darnold already costing $19MM in 2022, the Panthers opt for the sensible choice and bolster a tattered offensive line rather than add another QB to the roster.
7. Giants - George Karlaftis EDGE Purdue
NY shores up the other side of the ball and adds some needed pass rush.
8. Falcons - Nakobe Dean LB Georgia
Dean's ability to attack the run and blitz the passer is an attractive option for a Falcons defense with only a handful of bright spots.
9. Texans (from Broncos) - Derek Stingley CB LSU
Texans land a potential difference maker in the secondary that they may have taken at 3 overall anyway. Add in some 2023 picks and you can't beat it.
10. Jets - David Ojabo EDGE Michigan
Five pass rushers in the Top 10 seems crazy, but with so many teams either not in a position or not in need of a QB, the edge class dries up quick. Ojabo is unpolished but Saleh should be able to develop and extract his potential as good or even better than just about an
Detroit Lions - EDGE Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan – Detroit is a team with many needs. In a battle between Hutchinson and Thibodeaux as the best player in the draft, the Lions go with the hometown kid.
Jacksonville Jaguars - OT Evan Neal, Alabama – While the stories of Trevor Lawrence running for his life every game are over blown, giving the new franchise QB a clean pocket to throw should be the Jaguars top priority.
Houston Texans - EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux, Oregon – A pass rusher isn’t their biggest need but the Texans can’t say no to the highly talented Thibodeaux.
New York Jets - EDGE George Karlaftis, Purdue – The Jets defense needs help at all levels. Karlaftis might be the third best at his position in the draft, but he’s still a top talent who will help the Jets get to the QB.
New York Giants - IOL Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa – The Giants don’t know if Daniel Jones is the answer because he’s rarely had a chance to throw in a clean pocket to show what he can do. Linderbaum is one step in the process of improving the O-Line.
Trade #1 New York (Giants) trades #6 to New Orleans for #13, #44, a 2023 2nd Round pick, and a 2023 4th Round pick.
New Orleans Saints - QB Matt Corral, Ole Miss – The Saints make the jump to nab the future face of the franchise for the next decade plus. Corral has improved year over year, and looks to be the top QB in this class.
New York Jets – S Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame – I wasn’t kidding when I said the Jets defense needs help at all levels. Hamilton is a freakish athlete that will offer the Jets a lot of versatility in their coverage.
Carolina Panthers – OT Charles Cross, Mississippi State – The Panthers might have considered QB if Corral was still available. With him gone, they look to improve their O-Line in order to help protect whoever ends up taking the snaps for them.
Atlanta Falcons – CB Derek Stingley Jr., LSU – Stingley would have been a Top 3pick if it wasn’t for the fact that he missed most of this season after having surgery on his left foot. A healthy Stingley paired with Terrell would give the Falcons one of the best CB duos in the NFL.
Philadelphia Eagles – CB Andrew Booth Jr., Clemson – The Eagles are another team that needs to address every level of their defense. Booth should give them a solid CB2 to start the season, and will be someone to eventually take over for Slay at CB1.
Philadelphia Eagles – WR Garrett Wilson, Ohio State – Hurts has shown pro
