I haven't saw this posted here before and I thought some people would enjoy reading it. It's a short story about a very real possibility the future could become. I read it years ago and kept it bookmarked and happened to see it and thought it fit this subreddit perfectly.

I shared your manna short story to everyone that I know. Many people that I know were turned off by the unprofessional design of your website.

Silicon valley employee love the ideas in your story, but they are used to much cleaner and technically savvy looking websites where as your site looks like it hasnt been upgraded in 20 years.

I dont mean that as an attack. But please hire a professional designer to make the website look neater, cleaner, less busy and less cluttered.

Having pictures and videos of yourself in the footer makes the website look self centered and like its a promotional site designed to self promote you.

You are an extremely accomplished person and your story and essays make it clear that you care far more about spreading your ideas and vision than about promoting yourself.

I love your vision for a modern world. Please build a website that reflects this vision.

I'm excited to be participating today in The Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN)’s Series of AMAs for International Basic Income Week, September 15-21. I would love to see religion in America replaced by rationality, science and critical thinking. I imagine that everyone on /r/atheism probably feels this way, and that the country will be much better off once we get there.

So the version 1 web site to help this process along was:

After a hiatus, Sterling Publishing approached and asked me if I would like to try a book. It will be version 4. The advantage of the free web sites and videos is the ability to reach millions of people. The advantage of a book is heightened credibility and the possibility of a media tour that may reach more people.

So “How God Works” is coming out in January, and in it I am trying to help people prove to themselves that God (and human-manufactured gods in general) are imaginary. The book uses critical thinking, logic and science in an accessible format to help readers understand why people believe in imaginary beings.
