The original version of this course,Mars Pathfinder G.C.,has done pretty well with over 4000 plays but I need a few plays on the Tour version to reach HCP status.Early1981 was kind enough to host the original on his YouTube channel which helped it get noticed and played.The Tour version is at night with crowds,some added objects and I sped up the greens and made a few other cosmetic changes.It is sitting at 292 plays so I just need a little help to make this course my 10th course to reach HCP status.Thanks in advance for any willing to give it a go.

This course is dedicated to the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Mars Pathfinder Mission.Pathfinder launched on Dec.4th 1996 and arrived on Mars July 4th 1997.I studied photos taken by the various rovers that have landed on Mars in an attempt to best simulate the look and lighting of the Martian sky.I think I came pretty close.As you play the 18th hole be sure to say goodbye to the "Sojourner" rover and don't be late catching your ride home on the rocket warming up on the launch pad.Enjoy!

"On Mars" by Vital Lacerda has become one of my top 5 games of all time. However, while I had fun with the official solo mode, it didn't meet my personal preferences for solo play.

Pathfinder is a low-maintenance, low-decision-making, win-by-points solo mode with 4 difficulty levels. It only uses materials in the box.

An early version of an accompanying Solo Campaign called "Curiosity" has also been posted on the same page, if anyone would like to try it out.

Would there be any valuable info in recovering any of the previous mission hardware once humans get to Mars? What about air bags, parachutes, or anything else?

I'm doing a school project on Mars Pathfinder and the Sojourner Rover but I can't find any reliable sources on how it was funded. I assume that it was funded by the NASA federal fund, but I can't make any assumptions.
