The vast majority of popular metal seems to always be white, but for some reason when I was looking into the guitarists for all my favourite 'djent' bands, pretty much every guitar player wasn't white. Definitely not saying this is a bad thing mind you, just interesting that literally all of my favourite djent bands have non-white musicians but when it comes to brutal death, black metal, etc all my favourites are white dudes. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it.

Content is a commitment. It remains a challenge, year after year, to just be myself, and not to pander to the audience and the machine (sometimes, sadly, the same thing now). For many of us who went on Instagram to express our creativity then realized it was all too easy to manipulate that creativity for likes and engagement, this has been a year of discomfort and displacement. Artists who used to rely on Instagram reach for a living now fear they need to do more of the same thing just to be seen. Familiarity breeds content, and here we are, slaves to the tyranny of watercolor florals, fan art, and in my case, cylindrical objects.
He is almost sure to break the "modern day" record of 23 held by Curtis Granderson (2007), and the Mets record and modern day NL record of 21 held by Lance Johnson (1996).
The record is 36 set by Chief Wilson of the Pirates in 1912. That would seem out of reach; they used to play in open fields with no fences in the 1800s and early 1900s, and even slow fat guys would get triples with regularity. A lot of teams also had slow lumbering guys in the outfield and the ones that did have fences in the outfield had them 450 feet or more away from home plate.
Still, 36 is not totally out of the question, but he'd have to pick up his already incredible pace just a little bit more.
Either way would make for some quality entertainment

The MMA Hour’s first episode back aired in August of 2021 and the podcast immediately reclaimed its old slot as one of the most influential media outlets in the sport. Ariel mixed fighter interviews, analysis, and feuds with other members of the MMA world to make The MMA Hour bigger than ever. Not bad for a podcast that wasn’t around for more than half of the year.
