Hi Everyone!
This week, Play to Win is joined by Higher and Scoots!
WE HAVE:
Dylan, on Yuriko, the Ninja commander that can get a great deal of card advantage and pressure life totals while winning with Thassa's Oracle/Demonic Consultation.
Cameron on Ikra/Bruse You Snooze You Looze, a tribal Ad Naus deck that gains insane amounts of life thanks to the synergy between the commanders.
Higher, on Kinnan Mid Power, a bigger version of the Simic mana master that includes some Large Creatures that bring out your inner Timmy.
and Scoots on Thrasios/Tymna DNR (Definitely Not Razakats), a reanimator deck that uses Razaketh, the Foulblooded to find Thassa's Oracle/Consultation.

We had quite the interesting stack and interaction when Josh dropped a copy effect on the field.
Relatively new to r/BudgetBrews, but before finding this subreddit, Kinnan was my first commander that I built with an intention for a $100 budget. I have now revisited this deck with the goal of pushing down the price-point further while retaining its viability as a solid combo deck. This is the result.
I expect most players by now are familiar with how the Kinnan combo works to generate infinite mana and play your entire deck, so below are some cards that I find interesting and made the deck list because they did not seem very popular amongst the variety of other Kinnan budget decks that I compared, but I think are rather noteworthy and deserve some attention.
[[Saruli Caretaker]], there are not many 1-drop creatures that are both cheap and tap for any color. I find Saruli to be the best in this case because she has the thickest of butts compared to the other options.
[[Karametra's Favor]], this aura provides a second means besides Saruli Caretaker to make Kinnan go to work and tap for mana.
[[Drover of the Mighty]] & [[Reclusive Taxidermist]], these guys are also Human Druids like Kinnan (allowing them to interact with [[Kogla, the Titan Ape]], but they can also conditionally beef themselves up while also tapping for mana of any color.
[[Rootcoil Creeper]], another Simic 2/2 similar to [[Maraleaf Pixie]]. Unfortunately we only have one other target for its alternate abilities, but it is a flavor target from the same set, [[Dryad's Revival]], a regrowth with flashback.
[[Mana Cylix]], I did not know this card existed until I did an exhaustive search of all 1-drop artifacts that tap for a mana of any color. There were not that many, but this saves a couple bucks over using a [[Springleaf Drum]].
[[Moonsilver Key]], this card is fantastic and I expect to be shoving it into decks, an incredibly effective tutor for artifact mana rocks & dorks!
[[Step Through]], some nice Wizardcycling to fetch [[Trophy Mage]] or even [[Stonework Packbeast]].
Since we can expect to threaten a win condition around turns 4-6, our protection magic is mostly geared towards countering early targeted removal. Later in the game, watch out for board wipes as it may set you back more significantly if left un-countered. [[Test of Talents]] is incredible in that it can perfectly counter both targeted spells like [[Pongify]] or [[Swords to Pl

So I've been slowly optimizing my Kinnan list over time but have struggled a bit with it lately, I feel like I have plateaued a bit.
Aside from like, dual lands and shit I'm fairly budgetless; the decks in my meta are a Kenrith deck that wins with thoracle/consultation usually but has a few backup plans like Kinnan/Baslt, there's a Kraum/Tevesh Szat list (here is the exact list of that player) and I think a Thrasios/Tevesh Szat list is being built by another guy too. The other main player in our meta literally builds new decks weekly and it's impossible to know what he will be playing but in the past has played commanders such as Najeela, Winota, Gitrog and Elsha of the Infinite
My main lines at the moment are:
Kinnan + Basalt Monolith
Kinnan + Freed From The Real/Pemmin's Aura + any multicoloured dork
Freed From The Real/Pemmin's Aura + Sanctum Weaver or Bloom Tender
Hullbreaker Horror + any two mana positive rocks
and then Finale of Devastation or Walking Ballista usually.
I've been playing the deck for about a year now or a bit longer and my main issue is that it just feels like it never has the answers or protections compared to the other decks in my meta, and it just feels kinda slow but idk how else to change it.
Would love some help, cheers
Is [[Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy]] a good card when ran as your commander ? A bad card ? A completely brainless piece of trash that takes zero skill to play ? Tell me your opinion (and how you would change the card to make it balanced).
After losing some long control match ups I switched up my deck to have more counter spells and card draw but now I'm feeling like the deck no longer performs against the most common commanders I am placed against which are kinnan/golos/sythis.
I feel like I need more creature removal, ramp and ways to protect my prismatic bridge. I'm okay with losing vs control decks
Thank you for your help :)
Looking for some critiques and criticisms on my [[Kinnan]] deck. I always liked the idea of tons of Mana, big creatures and big spells while remaining competitive in an EDH setting. The deck includes a mix of cards that are good, cards I like, and cards that are fun (for me at least).
Let me know what you think and any fun cards to add or strange cards that would work, thanks!

Iβm making a causal Kinnan deck for a friend who is new-ish to EDH and has been struggling a bit themselves building a deck.
I wanted to make something really straight forwards thatβs going to have plenty of ramp and card draw so theyβve always got something to do.
I decided to go with heaps of mana rocks and an elf druid sub-theme so they can get as many big stompy boys out as possible. Win-cons are by combat or by flogging everyoneβs lands with [[Gilt-Leaf Archdruid]] and thereβs plenty of counters in there to hopefully keep everything safe from spot removal and board wipes.
Iβd like to keep it relatively budget but any and all recommendations are welcome.

Hi Everyone!
This week Play to Win is joined by Rebell, showcasing her Jeggy Naus Deck featured on the Decklist Database!
SO FOR TODAY'S GAME, WE HAVE:
Dylan, on Godo, the mono-red deck looking to get to 11 mana to win using Helm of the Host to get Infinite Godos and Infinite Combats for Infinite Damage.
Cameron, on Jeska/Ishai Jeskai, a storm deck that can win out of nowhere with Commander damage from Ishai
Tyler, on Kinnan, a combo deck that can get an absurd amount of mana from rocks and dorks off of the Commander's ability
and Rebell on Jeggy Naus, a traditional Ad Nauseam that tries to go off after having Jegentha in play, allowing you to have much more comfortable post-Naus board positions.
