As you probably know Marcia Wallace, the voice of Edna Krabappel, passed away yesterday at the age of 70.

Since she died in 2013, who has been Bart's teacher? Have they just avoided classroom scenes since then or did they give Bart a new teacher?

I felt like this post needed to be made. The Simpsons, as well as other animated shows on Animation Domination, is family to Family Guy. We not only share the same network, but we also share the same audience. The Simpsons has been around for 25 years, and inspired Seth McFarlane while doing Family Guy. The Family Guy production team is friends with The Simpsons production team, and since we're true Family Guy fans, we should be the same.
After watching the show for many years, you get to know all of the distinct characters on The Simpsons. At some point in time, you feel a connection with all of the character. Edna was not just Bart's teacher, she was our teacher as well. She showed us that, despite being just a 'teacher', there's a real person inside her that is just like everybody else. We shared ups and down, failed relationships and successfully marrages, depression along with happiness. Edna, we've been through a lot with you and you'll be truly missed.

I understand that our first instinctual thought is that Edna will be killed off. Al Jean has stated her character will be retired, but I believe her story could end in multiple ways.
Her story could end happily ever with a dream job offer. With the rumours of another character leaving the show, maybe her and Ned will move to start a new life and live happily ever after.
I know that Edna's life in Springfield is over. Doesn't mean she can't live happily ever after.
