Okay so I watched some Mali guides and played a couple of very frustrating games. They basically go like this:
Get most of my home region unified (although I never manage to unify everything before I get Iberian problems knocking on my door)
I go to South America and form a colonial nation before Portugal or Spain do (although I never get Colonialism before them). It all seems to go well until Spain, England and Portugal which are all allied to each other (sometimes it's just Spain + Portugal) declare war on me. As Morocco is almost always eaten by that time they can just march huge armies through the desert towards me. I'm normally about 1/2 mil tech behind them but I just get absolutely destroyed anyways as their armies are about 5-10x my size (the region I capture can support about 20k so my army is normally a couple 100k smaller) even if I take out 10 loans to get all mercs its just to difficult to beat Spain + Portugal (+sometimes England).
My colony normally is useless and doesn't really have an army. There's no way to get decent allies before the war (except for Tmelcen, Tunis or Marrroco if they still exist by the time I discover them but if they exist they normally rival me). Mamluks/Ottomans are too far away.
How do I go about this as I tried following these tutorials but I can't unify the region before 1530 (video unifies home region around 1485) as I always get either a peasant war or don't expand fast enough to unify everything

Pitanje mi je i relativno praktične prirode, pošto živim u malom gradu na severu Vojvodine (Senta) koji je u poslednjih par godina napustio veliki broj ljudi (veliki broj ljudi je uzeo mađarsko državljanstvo i otišao u EU da živi). U našem gradu je sve manje ljudi i zbog toga već više od godinu dana u firmi u kojoj radim imamo problem da nađemo kvalifikovane i stručne ljude. Dosad smo davali oglase i tražili samo ljude odavde i iz okolnih sela/gradova ali u poslednje vreme razmišljamo o tome da proširimo krug traženja ali ne znamo da li bi to uopšte dalo neke rezultate.
Pošto sam tokom celog života (osim tokom studija) živeo u malom gradu interesuje me da li bi npr ljude iz većih gradova uopšte interesovalo da dođu da žive u manji grad, da li ne bi mogli da žive bez nečega što imaju u velikom gradu ili bi možda odlazak u manji grad doživljavali kao skok "sa konja na magarca", kao odlazak na neku nižu stepenicu uspeha? Znam da mnogi iz velikih gradova ne mogu bez "živosti" velikog grada (koju sam ja u stvari osećao kao gužvu i večitu jurnjavu) i da osećaju da je manji grad "dosadan". Sa druge strane, npr kao roditelj dvoje male dece osećam da ovde imam neki mir i da bih se u velikom gradu mnogo više brinuo za njih. Voleo bih da čujem mišljenje ostalih o ovome.

Hindi din ako papayagan ng parents ko kung sa manila naman kasi di namin kaya. Kung hindi ko naman po kukunin yun scholarship i might not be able to study this year.
