Hey guys, I’m trying to to do research on some MOSs and I can’t find shit on what MAGTF. If anyone knows or is in this MOS, what is that you do? What does your day to day life look like? Thanks anything helps.
I have a question about this MOS. Is this a hard MOS to get in in the corps since I don’t get myself involved with anything combat related. How long does training last for MAGTF?
I’m looking into 0511 as one of the MOSs I may be interested in, though I can’t find too much more about what it’s actually like to be one. Any info about the day to day, job responsibilities, and things of that sort. Thanks!

u/Bearded_Wildcard told me instead of signing an open field contract like 06xx or 03xx, I could sign a data contract and get either 0511 or 0651.
See I wanna get 0651 because I like working with computers but I don't wanna sign a 06xx (communications) contract and risk getting wireman or radio operator. Has anybody done this option, was offered it, or know anything about it?
