A list of puns related to "M231 Firing Port Weapon"
So I recently acquired an M231 Port-Firing Gun reproduction handguard kit and I have a few questions for some of the parts I need before I start the build.
Since the real M231 is an open bolt gun, that Isn't something I can do without problems with the ATF, but one thing I've noticed with the bolt carrier is that it doesn't have any forward assist serrations since you can't use a forward assist on the M231 anyways. Brownells has a bolt carrier without F-A serrations, but it has a chrome finish instead of a grey phosphate finish like on the M231. Does anybody know of any BCG's with a grey finish without the F-A serrations? Otherwise I think I will just pick up the Brownell's BCG and refinish it later.
The M231 has an oddly specific barrel length of 15.6", and since I'd like to make this into a rifle configuration with the telescoping wire stock I also bought, I've decided to just go with a 16" barrel. The kit I have requires a heavy profile barrel so I was wondering if somebody has any suggestions for 16" heavy barrels. I was looking at this Anderson Mfg. barrel as a possibility.
I bought an M231-style telescoping wire-stock, but it needs to be refinished. I was wondering what the proper finish would be on the parts on the stock. It looks like the bracket that holds the stock into place uses a lighter colt grey finish and the buffer tube and stock itself seem to be a dark grey or almost black finish, but I'd like some second opinions.
I am almost rank 70 with over 9k cash saved and i can buy it right now, and i have been looking to buy something that's fun to play with. So, is it worth buying? And does it have any use outside of point-blank range and on maps other than metro and bazaar?
Right down the shitter.
What title says
It will separate above ground and inside bunker combat and provide an option where enemies can't just hop into trenches connecting your bunkers and use them against you (a big reason why people still don't like building trenches near bunker AI/mannable structures.).
Bonus if you allow the under-road trench connectors to function as tunnels!
We could choose to build open trenches far from base defenses. Then covered trenches closer to base AI defenses (So you could run through them and man them during an offensive without being picked off or exposing yourself to above ground combat).
Thanks.
Rip my best pilot.
So when warping in the setting I've created, you're combining sub-light boosting and space bending to achieve impossible speeds. But would weapons work at all while warping? Maybe lasers would, as they travel faster than sub-light speeds, but once it exits the warp field that laser would be getting bent from the perspective of the ship. Bullets probably wouldn't work, they're just too slow. Maybe homing missiles would, depending on ho fast they're designed to fly. I'm not a physicist, the whole concept of bending space kinda warps my mind. If anyone has any insights on this I'd love to hear it.
For example, the side mounted stubbers on a scorpios disintegrator are probably not technically able to both fire on the same target. Does this mean that you cannot use both to attack the same target?
Also for turreted weapons, for example the repulsor executioner has the bolter pods on the back of the turret. Those cannot face the same direction as the cannon. Does that mean they can only fire upon targets within thier visibility? But could the turret not move to get them within the arc?
Are turret direction changes finalized in the movement phase?
