#BCSilverAlert #NorthVancouver

Vincent Che was last seen in the driveway of his home in Lynn Valley on April 2 at around 10 a.m., North Vancouver RCMP said Wednesday.

Although it does not appear he's been diagnosed with #dementia his family describes his memory as "fading"

“He does have some memory issues,” he said.

“His memory is fading. It’s coming in and out. He doesn’t usually wander off like this without contacting us.”

PLEASE note that even someone without a diagnosis of dementia can be the subject of a Silver Alert.

police agencies NEED TO BE AWARE of the vulnerable nature of people with cognitive and memory issues. This is a life threatening emergency!

I have had curtains made of a fabric printed with illustrations of famous people over 10 years (maybe from 2008). All people have been recognized except the one. Hopefully You can help me to recognize the last one and find the corresponding real life photo of that celebrity. Also if you think some of already solved ones are incorrect feel free to fix that! For example picture of Jessica Alba does not seem 100% same!

Before anyone chimes in, yes I realize there are WRs who are missing here. However most are of the well...bad to below average run blocking variety.

For instance Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Freeman couldn't block a twitter account but you should already know that and quite frankly not use their card for their run blocking ability.

H.R.1280 - George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021 lacks backing from Republican Senators. Take the time to message Cassidy and Kennedy to let them know you want them to vote yes on this issue. You can click below to be taken to each Senators Website and copy and past the message below.

Cassidy ----> https://www.cassidy.senate.gov/contact

Kenndey ----> https://www.kennedy.senate.gov/public/email-me-form

Sen. (Insert Name)

With the recent conviction of Derek Chauvin, and the continued needless killings of African Americans in the U.S, I employ you to vote yes for H.R.1280 - George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021, Needless killings happen every day due to police officers that fail to follow appropriate procedures when dealing with the public.

In Louisiana alone, Trayford Pellerin, Alton Sterling, Ronald Greene, Calvin Toney, Shady Bell Jr. DeJaun Guillory, Keith Carter, Bobby Hinton, Josef Alexander, and Modesto Marrero Desto Reyes, Marcus Boles, and Thomas Johnson, to name a few, have all died at the hands of police. Since 2013 Louisiana police officers have killed at least 178 people. We must make changes for this to stop. This issue is systematic racial discrimination to the extent of delaying police intervention for those of color in need when they call for help which was in the case of Quawan "Bobby" Charles, a 15-year-old African American boy where Baldwin police failed to act in a timely manner to find the missing boy.

As Louisianians, we must stand with our people and the rest of the country to help stop these needless killings of people of color. This issue has been going on for decades, and it's time we all work together to create change. Voting no for H.R.1280 - George Floyd Justice in Policing Act of 2021 will give our country the mindset that in Louisiana, we still believe in racism and uphold the ideology that spun from slavery, that people of color have less value. Please help Louisiana rise above this mindset and be a part of long-lasting change.

Hi all. For those of you who don't know me, I'm active in trying to get substantive medical marijuana legislation passed in Tennessee. As you might have seen from our final defeat of the year in the House Criminal Justice committee yesterday, that's not getting any easier.

I have put together a list of every TN state senator/representative, along with their stance on marijuana, taken from either their vote record on MMJ legislation, NORML record, or other news postings.

There is currently a large swath of legislators who are "Unknown" because they have not voted on the issue nor have they commented publicly. If anyone can help fill in the gaps in this list, I think it would help the cause down the road.

(2020) Invisible Man 9/10

This remake, simply put, is excellent. I’m a huge fan of Leigh Whannell and while I do think the story itself is fantastic, it’s his directing that blew me away. This movie is so fucking tense without showing anything for a huge majority of its runtime. When shit actually starts to go down, it’s the definition of thrilling. Elisabeth Moss killed her role.

(2020) The Rental 8/10

The meat and bones of this movie is a character driven drama story. It’s tense and having so much knowledge right away as the viewer that the characters don’t have is frankly anxiety inducing, in a good way. I thought all four main performances were fantastic, especially Sheila Vand. There’s a moment in the film where everything is abruptly subverted in a grand horror fashion and depending on your tastes, that may be off-putting. To me, it was absolutely genius. Dave Franco directed the fuck out of this movie and eliminated all the comfort of campiness that great slashers usually hold.

(2020) Relic 8/10

Robyn Nevin is fantastic here and all the supporting roles are great but not only does this woman make the movie, she is the movie. Her dialogue, her delivery and her body language, at least to me, are a huge chunk of the entire plot. I just found this movie to be gentle until it isn’t, which makes for the most tense moments. It’s a very claustrophobic film; I think it does justice to a very serious and frightening illness.

(2020) Palm Springs 8/10

It doesn’t take long to catch on that, while this is a romantic comedy, it’s also a sci-fi horror film and a specific subset of sci-fi that makes me anxious. So in some regards, at least to genre placement, there’s my bias. The movie is seriously a treat though. It’s a new spin on an old formula and it’s genuinely funny, suspenseful and endearing. Even if you disagree that it shouldn’t be discussed in the horror circles, you won’t regret watching it.

(2020) Shirley 7/10

It’s an incredibly interesting film for many reasons but mostly because it exists as a biopic, as well as a psychological horror film. Jackson is played Elisabeth Moss who is just wonderful. She really brought to life the internal struggle of Jackson. I’d suggest doing some research before diving into this because her profession during the time period was not glamorous or widely accepted, which gives context to, well, everything.

(2020) Becky 8/10

Kevin James was fantastic. He’s a sadistic fuck in this

First time pulling a hit from hitscraper, let me know if it could have been done better.

Quick post. I'm finding the best part of UL weekend has been the versatile cards for each player. Often they are the most fun you can have building your team for a few games because you get to be more creative and see some players in roles you never would before.

With that said I was initially excited to see a blocking WR who's 260lbs on the outside and has 85 impact block. What always screwed up Shockey at WR for me was his low impact blocking. Yes he did a great job blocking but he almost never put a guy on his ass and mainly just push blocked my opponent. Works for a TE but at WR you need that pancake so they can at least get in the way of the safety.

Needless to say when Boston came out Shockey went back to TE and when Kittle came out Shockey was sold.

So I see this new Ware today and wow, 260lbs with 90 strength and 65 run block? His grade for comparison sake:
