A list of puns related to "Lynn Morley Martin"
I was thinking of taking ph immunology HSC 4504 during the summer. He has gotten really bad reviews during the past couple of semesters. Can anyone who took his class, confirm how he teaches, and if an A is possible in his class?
Posted in the other sub too, but figured I'd post here as well.
Just dropping this as a PSA if anyone else takes their dog to the Morley Field dog park. There's a fella there with a big mustache who has what looks like a Komondor (mop lookin' dog) who is not friendly and has cost my partner and I $600 tonight.
The dog is kept on a leash and we even remarked that was probably because the dog was aggressive. Turns out, yes! Very much so! Our little guy was playing with another dog and ran past the Komondor and it put two sizable holes in our dude. I saw it happen, but our guy got up and kept playing. It was only a minute or so later that when he started to walk towards home (we live right by the dog park) my partner noticed the wounds on his side.
I confronted the guy and he acted like he didn't see anything and was very confused. I couldn't tell if he was playing dumb or just that oblivious, but I'm kicking myself for not getting his or anyone else's contact info, but aside from small claims court I'm not even sure what could be done. If nothing else, I just wanted to tell him his dog was dangerous and that he absolutely should not bring them to a dog park, leash or otherwise.
I know dog parks can suck but we live so close and we've always had great experiences with people there. A woman was very kind and offered up some vet contacts and told us that dog is a known threat. With it being such an easily recognizable dog, the best I can do I suppose is just warn folks to stay away from this dude.
Happens every time without fail

So we just learned about the Michelson Morley experiment, you have one light beam going up, the other going forward. Let's say the experiment performed on ship moving at relativistic speed. Then, forward beam is direction of ship. So I'm confused how both observer on ship and watching from afar, stationary, both perceive the light moving at c. The light beam that goes up moves in y direction in this scenario, and deltay=deltay', but there's time dilation factor. Therefore, light will move from mirror up to other mirror in both scenarios. In the ship's perspective the beam moves for t seconds a distance deltay'. In the stationary observer's perspective the beam moves deltay=deltay' but moves for greater than t seconds. So if speed is distance over time, how are both observers seeing the light as moving at the same speed??
