The demo shows up, but not the full game. Was it delisted or anything at some point?
I'm a fan of falling block puzzle games, but for whatever reason never jumped into the world of Lumines. I really dug Tetris Effect on the PS4 though, and was curious to give the creator's earlier work a try. As it turns out, Lumines is great stuff, and feels great on the Vita. These sorts of games always feel right at home on a handheld, and Lumines' flashy style shines brightly on that OLED screen.
The game looks simple at first -- just make 4x4 squares with the two colors available. But to really rack up the points, you want to try to not do that, and instead shoot for making long connected lines of a single color -- and then place a special block that will make all of those blocks disappear (so long as they're connected, and the same color). It's a really clever risk/reward setup, because obviously it's easy to mess things up and you'll have a ton of useless blocks filling up the screen. There are also shuffle blocks that can ruin all your best-laid plans... (But on the flip side, those shuffle blocks can help a bit when you're in a jam too.)
Fun game, perfect for a pick-up-and-play when you've got 10 minutes to kill. Well-worth recommending to anyone getting a Vita, and wanting some variety in their lineup of games. Physical copies can be found for pretty cheap still for this one if you want to go that route.
The presentation, music, and gameplay are simply superb. Bought it for $6.99 at GameStop, and I have been happily surprised. The sense of improvement and progression I feel after every session is really awesome. I look forward to beating the Voyage, however long it takes.

Anyone know where I can buy a working digital code for this game? I regret not getting it when it was on PSN after playing the original on my PSP.
I just discovered Lumines Electronic Symphony is removed from the PS Store. And not only that, but all Lumines games and DLC are MIA on the EU store. The demo of Lumines Electronic Symphony is still on the US store, together with some other Lumines games and DLC.
Somebody knows what happened? Luckily I still have it on my Vita :)
so i want to get this game but i have a question, is there a way to play it like the classic lumines, like without the shuffle block and the avatar abilities and the other new mechanics i'm not interested in? this game is visually gorgeous and i want to get it just for that.

I just noticed this from the European PSN Store website. This must be a mistake right? It is my understanding that it's only available for the PS Vita. I wish it was available for the big screen though.

So I dumped Lumines with Vitamin 1.0 and when I installed, it only shows as a demo game also while running it I was able to play just one default round.
Any idea why is this happening?
I have these two games used, and it'd be really nice to have a case for every game in my collection. I've found one of Lumines, but it's a non-US one, so I'm wondering if any US owners have scans of these two.
I've wasted my entire night trying to beat the Gouryella skin to no avail. Is there a particular avatar I should be using? I'm trembling at how difficult and unfair this is. Thanks in advance!

I mean, it loads fine, and when the title screen says "touch to start", I can actually press start on the PS3 controller, and it takes me to the next screen... where no buttons on the controller work.
Am I missing something? I just picked this up as it was listed on the crowdsourced compatibility list.... if it needs a PS4 controller specifically, I wish the list would have pointed that out. :(
Let me know if there's something else I can try. I did notice an update, which I downloaded and installed, with no changes in behavior.

Hopefully somebody can shed some light here. I bought a Vita shortly after launch (maybe around a month after release). However, it didn't get a whole lot of love from me and it started to collect dust. Recently, I've picked it back up and am really loving it again. It feels like I just brought it home from the store.
One thing I noticed though, was that I own the digital version of Lumines: Electronic Symphony. The thing is, I do not remember purchasing this game. Not to say that it's a bad game or anything, it's just unlike me to do something like that (I tend to purchase physical games if given the option). According to my PS account, I "purchased" it on 4/19/2012. One thing I did notice was, on that same date, I "purchased" Motorstorm RC, Cliff Diving, Fireworks, Table Soccer, and Treasures of Montezuma Blitz. Those games I know were FREE (and likely still are). So, does anybody know if Lumines was FREE at the time of my "purchase?" This is really just boggling my mind. I cannot attribute why I have this game. Thanks in advance.
The highest I ever got to was 202 Squares Removed and my average is around a 100 squares removed.
I have removed the latest update so that I can get chain blocks into the Master Zone, but I still find that getting 240 Squares removed is no easy task.
My mind is in agony as I try to find suitable places for the blocks as they fall faster than my mind can take.
Any tips on how to beat Master Zone 4? I really want to 100% this game because it's a great one.
