A list of puns related to "Ludwig Göransson"
by this video Ludwid breaks downs some of the soundtracks of Tenet, one of which being "Meeting Neil". He said that he fed violin recordings into a modular synth unit but I couldn't quite figure out the name of the module. Is he referring to "Nebulae"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa6Uja5rgig at 23:40
This may seem a little bit like a conspiracy theory, but I think it's a very solid one based on the caliber of Göransson's previous work.
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the theme/leitmotif I am talking about but in case you aren't here it is: https://youtu.be/HcZ9kQ1h-ZY
This motif is established in ANH and is often also referred to as the "binary sunset theme". Originally, this theme was meant to represent Obi-Wan, but Lucas had it used in the sunset scene because he thought it sounded good (which of course it does). As the original trilogy continued, the motif was kind of appropriated to represent the force, and this holds true throughout most of star wars media (at least until you get to the prequels where the musical identity of the franchise kinda starts to fall apart...).
Throughout the Mandalorian we see a couple of different force users, and I noticed that he never used the motif in any of those scenes:

Baby Yoda heals: https://youtu.be/dJSfwpznSII
Baby Yoda force chokes: https://youtu.be/Fmd_Q0tt78s
Ahsoka all scenes: https://youtu.be/21rhQcclCE0
For a long time I thought it was kind of a missed opportunity for the theme to be used because it has so much recognition within the fandom, and the usage of the force is so infrequent in the show that it probably wouldn't lose the impact it originally had. However, the motif is used in the season 2 finale here: https://youtu.be/9eV4vTtCYNs?t=51
Now, this could mean a couple of things; originally, the "main" theme of Star Wars was actually meant to represent Luke, and as the series has gone on it has really lost that meaning, this could be Göransson's way of re-appropriating Obi-Wan's theme to represent his apprentice Luke. However, I think it has a slightly different meaning, I think that this was Göransson's way of musically representing the Jedi. Obviously he wasn't just using it to represent the force because we never heard it for Ahsoka or Grogu, but neither of them were Jedi. I think another supporting factor for this is that Göransson does use Ahsoka's theme, so it's not like he just doesn't like using other people's work.
If this has been posted before feel free to totally ignore this, I'd love to hear what everyone here thinks though!

Im one of the late fans of the series, and one of the reasons of my intrigue was to check out Ludwig`s early works, and i think his contribution to the series deserves more recognition and love, so many little gems like the D&D intro arrangement and overall score, to the clearly Dark knight inspired bits for the fistful of dollars 2 parter, and the more personal pieces like "greendale is where i belong" and the unnamed track that plays as the group gets ready to say goodbye to Troy (before "come sail again") im so glad that he and Donald got to collaborate on an album too, and i love that he`s blown up in these last years, his work on Black panther and Tenet is just iconic, and if there`s ever a Community feature film, i hope they call him because i cant imagine anyone else getting it right. (but probably Donald Glover and Ludwig may end up being way too expensive together)
