I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

During the playoffs and especially in the bubble last season, it seemed like anything anyone talked about was asterisks, and if this season "deserved" one due to the plethora of injuries. So, I decided to see if I could technically give an asterisk to literally every NBA Champion from 2021 all the way to 1947, just to show how fucking stupid the argument is.

Note - Even though the NBA didn't exist until 1950, they consider the 3 previous years of the BAA as official history, and list it as such.

Once I hit the early 1960s and 50s, due to there being practically no real information regarding those seasons besides a very brief overview and recap (some cases not even that), most of those seasons I had to stare at box scores and read team histories and see game by game if there were injuries and fall back to shooting% or FT%, which is why a lot of the asterisks pre-1960s-ish are pretty fickle.

2021 Milwaukee Bucks: Nets injuries let the Bucks cakewalk to the finals, and the Suns weren't real contenders and only made the finals cause of injuries to everyone they played.

2020 LA Lakers: Bubble ring. No crowds, no travel. Heat had injuries that made the finals a cakewalk.

2019 Toronto Raptors: Klay and KD both going down with injuries.

2018 Golden State Warriors: CP3 getting injured and the Rockets going 0-27 in game 7.

2017 Golden State Warriors: Warriors were down 20+ points before Kawhi went down with his injury.

Made all-time hometown rosters with original 30 NBA teams + 25 new teams to split populated areas and big teams (spreadsheet + map)

Player Pool and Team Pool

I used the top 969 players who have at least 10000 minutes played in their career.

Why 10000 minutes played? Because that's the lower standard set by Basketball-Reference to get on their ABA career leaderboard (15000 MP for NBA). I added George Mikan, because even though he hasn't played enough minutes, he's featured in All-Time ESPN NBARank and Bill Simmons Hall of Fame Pyramid.

I started off with the current 30 teams. To split up the Lakers and Clippers, I gave the Clippers their proposed Inglewood site.

As I looked at the map of player hometowns, I realized that there were:

• some areas that had a lot of players, but few close NBA teams
• some areas that had bloated rosters with too many players

Based off city population and arena size, I added 25 new teams.

• I obviously had to give Seattle their team back
• Birmingham, North Little Rock and Shreveport helped to split up the South
• Pittsburgh and St. Louis were big cities without teams
• Berkeley added to siphon off San Francisco
  • if I add Oakland, it takes away too many players
• Anaheim and Westwood added in Southern California (Clippers & Lakers)
• Winston-Salem and Raleigh to pare down Charlotte
• Lansing to prune Detroit
• 2nd Atlanta team in suburb of College Park
• 2nd Washington team and Baltimore
• 2 more teams in Chicago (Rosemont and South Side) + a team in Gary
• 2nd Indiana team + Louisville & Lexington
• 2nd Philadelphia team in suburb of Wynnewood
• 3 more teams in the New York Area (Newark, Queens and Long Island)

Moses Malone (C/PF):

Offense: This card is crazy in the low post with a 94 in all post categories, a 90 standing dunk, 85 driving dunk, AND hall of fame backdown, hook specialist, grace under pressure, and mouse in the house. He also has gold in every other finishing badge that isn’t layup related. He also has a 72 three and an 84 mid with set shot 1 so he should be able to hit them every now and then.

Playmaking: All that’s really here is a 74 speed with ball, which is very good for a big.

Defense: Great interior defender and rebounder as well with a 94 interior D, 89 steal, and 94 in both rebounds. He even has an 82 lateral so he should be able to at least stay in front of the 3-5. HOF intimidator and rebound chaser too. Key gold badges are interceptor, rim protector, post lockdown, box, and worm.

Physicals: 6’10” with a 7’2” wingspan might seem a little small for the 5, but when you take his 85 speed and accel, and 95 strength into account, he’s so deadly to run at center.

Moments PD Steph Curry (PG/SG):

Offense: Obviously he’s gonna be a lights out shooter. Curry base on quick is a great release, and he has a 97 three and 92 mid to go with that. Also can dunk in a open lane with a 65 driving dunk. His badges are looking like your average park player with HOF stop and pop, deadeye, circus threes, catch and shoot, difficult shots, and green machine. He also has every other shooting badge except for mismatch (silver), fade ace, and lucky #7.

Playmaking: 91 speed with ball, 98 ball control, and all his own signature dribble moves, which means the curry slide too. Most of the playmaking on at least bronze as well.

Defense: 84 perimeter, 86 lateral, and 85 steal. Comes with gold pick pocket and gold clamps, but neither are upgradeable.

Physicals: 6’3” with a 6’3” wingspan is the definition of average. 91 speed and accel are both good though.

D Nic Batum (PF/SF):

Ima save y’all time here and let y’all know he has an 80-88 in every major category except for his finishing. Decent badge spread, and base 40 which is good, decent sigs as well. Attributes are just very mediocre so let’s hope he gets this evo.

Amy Lucius Allen (PG/SG):

Offense: Decent shooter with an 86 three, 87 mid, and base 36. Comes with no shooting badges, but all can be applied.

Playmaking: 93 speed with ball, 90 ball control, and bad sigs. Almost every bade on at least silver though so that’s good.

Defense: Elite perimeter defender

First off here are the qualifications: First or last name must be Allen and the person must have played at least one season for the Milwaukee Bucks. With that said here are the Allen's in question.

Malik Allen. 08-09 season. Averaged 12 minutes per game in the 49 games he actually played in and put up a staggering 3.2pts per contest. Now Malik may not have been the best Allen, but he was the biggest Allen standing tall at 6'10" and weighing in at 255lbs. He was a big boy and big boys don't go unnoticed.

Lucius Allen. 1971-1974. Probably the most underrated Allen. Won a championship with us in 1971 and wasn't a complete sack of shit. At his peak he averaged 17.6 PPG on respectable efficiency. Not only that, but he WAS DRAFTED IN THE 1969 DRAFT. What a legend. An interesting fact about sweet Lucius: he played a college ball with a boy named Lew Alincidor and was included in the trade that sent Mr Lew to the Lakers. They must've been homies.

Grayson Allen. 2021-TBD. The golden boy. Recently signed a 2 year 10 million dollar extension without even playing a game for us. That right there is legendary. His jumper may be the wettest of the Allen's as he is a career 38% shooter from three. Kid has an amazing attitude and sometimes his passion gets misunderstood. If people stopped judging him from his looks and from his past they would be able to see his big heart. How can you not like that smile.

Now, with the evidence given, who would you say was the greatest Allen to ever play for the Milwaukee Bucks?
