First, you have to establish true identity as a spiritual being, which is synonymous with creativity, love and potential.
The identity derived from worldly experience is a false identity. You get a name, a backstory, ethnicity, a face etc, but these things lend nothing to true identity as a spirit.
As you become self realized, you'll break more and more away from identifying with the world, until the point where you start realizing the potential of a self aware spirit.
Imagine a robot and it's programmed to clean the carpet, so it just runs a course, does the job and docks itself into the charger. It's potential is absolutely limited and determined. Give it AI, allow it to learn everything and it's potential explodes into infinite possibilities.
That Intelligence program, where it can conceive of ideas, is the key to making that robot capable of infinite possibilities.
You see, you're not the carpet cleaning robot, you're a spiritual being of pure potential.
Second, you have to take down the barriers to love, which is the most painful and arduous process. It's much easier to do this step, having established identity as a spiritual being.
By gently approaching spiritual/emotional wounds to 1. Understand them 2. Understand why they hurt 3. Understand why you changed your identity/beliefs 4. Understand why/how it limited the flow of love within. We begin to heal.
The major skill to learn in the process is self compassion. Simply have common compassion towards yourself in the process, be nice and understanding.
Keep acquainting yourself with a fuller sense of your being and your potential, which is a bit easier during Yoga. You put your attention on relaxing into a physically straining activity, which does the same trick meditation shoots for quicker, getting you out of your thinking mind very effectively. Also attaining flow states does the same.
Once you become familiar with the transcendent state of mind, you become more comfortable with identifying as a spirit of potential.
This helps immensely in the healing process.
Thirdly, after healing, self love can start to take hold. It becomes a real experience, as you acknowledge yourself as a spirit of love. You build the love up until it becomes agape, or unconditional love for all.
The agape experience is also an experience of endless energy.

You guys... I cannot get over how their love scene went down. It just made me so happy? They were both so nervous about it happening, but still 100% sure that they trusted each other and were READY to try this strange and exciting thing together?
It just hits so freaking different than other love scenes I've read! It wasn't super SEXY or overwhelming, but it hit so close to home for me???

Got my mom a Kindle for Christmas and while I know a lot about the Sci-Fi/Fantasy side of books and authors, I am pretty much a novice when it comes to Mystery/Suspense/Thriller literature.
We set up her Kindle up with the Unlimited program, and figured it was a good way to gauge if she even enjoys the device vs reading a physical book.
I know she has been a big fan of authors such as Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich and Patricia Cornwell, so are there any authors, books/series that are on Kindle Unlimited that she might enjoy giving a go?
Really appreciate any hints you may have as their library of titles is huge and I'd have no idea what direction to point her in as she acclimates to the Kindle.

My boyfriend watched all of Critical Role season one alone, and I caught up in the middle/end of season two (around where they went to TravelerCon). I really enjoyed the characters and it was funny and adventuresome.
We are currently at the point of EXU S1E3, at the break point. We like the GM (she's doing great!), most of the characters are alright, and the actors are doing pretty good portraying them.
But we both feel like the characters themselves don't seem to DO anything much. They all are constantly goofing around (though it's fine for the actors to have fun, I understand it's for enjoyment) and don't seem to really move forward in the story very much. Is it just taking time for the story to gel?
Anyone else willing to say if they feel this way about it? I'd love to hear what people think, is it just us?
