Confused about Louis Kahn
I have been reading about Louis Kahn and I'm torn on whether he is a modernist or classicalist. While the bare aspects of his structures and simple materials seem modernist, his use of geometry and monumental style seems similar to ancient Rome and Greece. Is he a mix of the two? Or what differentiates him in one from the other?
Did he have any influence on the postmodernist movement?
