A list of puns related to "Loud House"
They crept in. It was pitch black and stone quiet. They were suddenly starting to regret this dare. Stupidly, only one brought a flash light. The aggressive darkness and inky black yielded with grudging compliance but always seeming to push back. They moved cautiously onward amid the dust and cobwebs. The floor creaked. They breathed in tight, quick breaths. You could hear a pin drop.
Suddenly, there was a deep moan. "OOOOOOOOUUUUU". It seemed from below them. The house had been abandoned for years. Who or what could make such a sound? The boys looked at each other, but continued on, hearts pounding in their chests.
As they proceeded into the kitchen they encountered a swarm of flies. Buzzing and beating their necks and faces, they rushed and stumbled to the door, not stopping to see what they were truly feasting on. They slammed the door behind them. Maybe a body? But no way were they going back to find out. And again came the sound, "ooooOOOOOooooOOUUU" but louder this time, and closer.
They proceeded through the dark into the dining room. They saw a fully set dining table covered in cob webs. Dust-covered regal-looking glasses, goblets and silverware adorned the table. Spiders climbed on ivory plates. Clearly a house of privilege and set for a grand feast which never happened.
Or, perhaps, met a fatal end?
They pushed on. But again that unearthly howl.
"oooooOOOOOOOOOOOUuuuuUUUUuuUUOOOOooo".
They found the basement staircase, and from below, the sounds seemed to be emanating. Could they proceed? Would they? Did they dare? Two of the boys looked at each other, faces filled with worry.
But the third said, confidently, "We're going down there." Not wanting to seem the weaker, the other two boys steeled themselves and nodded.
The stairs creaked and groaned evily under their feet. The rickety banister shook in angry defiance. Insects and vermin scattered underneath them with every step. They were descending into hell, they knew, but none would turn back.
And the sound: "oOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUuuuuUUOOOO". Now loud enough to fill not only their heads but seeming to claw at their very souls!
Now at the basement door! The antique, crying squeak of the hinges eeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEee made the boys wince and almost cover their ears. But they had to know. WHAT is making that horrible, terrible sound?
"ooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUoooooUUUUUUUOOOOOOO"
In the center of the basement lay an unholy coffin! A twisted artistic expression of murder, decay and

Eating dinner at my friend's house last night with his family. Their daughter walks in.
"Hey hon, how are you!" -Mom
"Hey! I'm okay. My throat is a little raw." -Daughter
"Well you better cook it." -Dad
I proceeded to laugh out loud while everyone else groaned a little and moved on.

(I've posted these on various places on the web outside of Reddit over the years under various screen names.)
When I walk into a bathroom and all the stalls are occupied, I make sure to say out loud "Full house beats a flush!"
If I'm lucky I can get a muted chuckle from one of the stalls.
Driving them back to their house, he points over at a business and says to her "Maybe I should work for that company there?
She looks over and asks "Amscot?"
To which he replies "Yeah, I am Scot."
I laughed out loud.
This Christmas, my dad, brother, and I went over to my grandfather's house to visit. My grandpa has a pool table, so we always play a couple games. Our teams were my dad and my brother against my grandpa and me. After his turn, my dad goes over to a piano in the corner of the room and starts playing Christmas tunes. His turn quickly comes up and he's still playing the festive tunes on the piano. My grandpa yells at him, "Hey! We're playing pool. Stop playing piano." My dad replies, "Fine! I'll play forte," and continued to play Jingle Bells, but very loudly.
My dad has been very stressed about finances during some remodeling and roof repairs on our house. All around depressed sort of mood. Someone started talking about dinner and I told him the classic. "I was gonna become a vegetarian but realized that would be a big missedsteak. He laughs out loud for 10 minutes and changed his mood for the day. Thanks /r/dadjokes
This past weekend, my sister was visiting my dad and I. We're all on the same floor but they're both on the opposite side of the house from me. Suddenly, from across the house I hear my dad loudly yelling "PHONE!"... "PHOOOOOONE!" I walk over to check out the scene. I ask "What's going on?", and my dad replies:
"Your sister can't find her phone, so she asked me to call it"
...Seriously, dad?
It was just me and the old man in the house the other day, I was in my room with the door closed and my dad was out on the couch. It was pretty silent in the house when I let out a loud sneeze, "AAACCHHHOOOOO!". All of a sudden I hear my dad yell out something distorted, so I get up to see what's up.
Me: "what's that?" Dad: "you put them on your feet, right?" Me: "put what on my feet?" Dad: "a shoe! That's what your said in there, wasn't it? AA SHHOOOEE!!"
Classic dad...
My dad is a night owl and my mum is an early bird, meaning he has a good few hours to plot and scheme his dadjokes...
Well the other evening, he decided to scare the living daylights out of my mum by drawing a face on a melon, stuffing it in a hoodie with rubber-gloves, shoes and jeans and posed it in our morning room.
Now my mum gets up real early, and walks around the house in a grumpy daze, grumbling, scratching and squinting and whatnot with a grim face looking for something to nag about, so you can imagine the sheer pride he (probably) felt wrapped up in bed with that dumb dadjoke grin from his "Hilarious prank", to hear a loud "AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" coming from across the hall.
Needless to say i'm pretty sure she found something to nag about that morning.
Last night we were sitting in my step grandparents' kitchen talking about how my mom and step dad want to move back to this town
Step dad: Well if you guys feel like you need to go to a retirement home we could take over this house.
Step granddad: Don't worry I have something better for you.
He then paused for a few seconds and starts chuckling loudly and says "A tent-house"
I think it took at least half an hour before he stopped laughing.
