Trivia: The Ring of Lordship was a quest item in the Shivering Isles expansion for Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Sheogorath tasks the player character with either killing Lord Thadon or Lady Syl to become the Lord of Mania or Dementia respectively. Depending on which path you choose, the Ring of Lordship will have different effects, either summoning Golden Saints or Dark Seducers to assist you.

In season one Jon hated being a bastard, he wanted to join the nights watch because the nights watch was the only place he assumed he can climb the ranks regardless of being a bastard. also, when Stannis offers him legitimacy in the books he says he always dreamed of becoming lord of winterfell. I understand his main objective and focus is to beat the night king And he isnβt focused on extracurricularβs but why is it naturally assumed he never wants any lordship or to become the King but instead people just elect him in those positions and itβs his duty to comply. This might sound dumb but Iβm thinking maybe he really wants those positions but is too shy and thinks no one will follow him cause heβs a bastard.
I was messing around with Ring of Lordship in my old Factotum deck because most of the cards are the same creature type and then I had a thought...
...if I put it on Reflective Automaton will it reduce the cost of all creatures? Sure enough, it does.
Then this gave me a though. What if you put some Reflective Automatons into an aggro deck with this and used it to drop a ton of cheap cards in one turn? I'm not the best deckbuilder at TESL, so I was wondering if anyone else tried this with success.
As Robb in War of Five Kings usually one of the first things I can do is to create the High Lordship of the Stony Shore. That option is not there anymore. Is this part of 1.9 or is something up?
I'm playing the rogue prince start and once I win the war I get the option to create the High Lorship of the Southern Stepstones but when clicking create title the game just crashes, it happened before in the Blackfyre Rebellion tab when creating the High Lordship of Blackheart but somehow got fixed but this is the 3rd time it has happened with the stepstones.
Anyone know how to fix this? would reinstalling the mod help?
"M'lord" Master Steffon said walking into Lionel's drawing quarters, "Is that Goldmare I see outside? How did enrolling her in school go?"
Lionel sighed. "Well, we were arrested in King's Landing immediately so I thought it best to leave. Could you believe that Targaryens are willing to marry their own sisters, but not a lovely girl such as her? At least the Braxes swore fealty in their invitation"
"Let me see that!" Steffon cried, searching through the letters on the desk until he found it.
..."M'Lord, they didn't literally mean you're THEIR lord. It's courtesy"
"WHAT? Let me see!". Lionel's face fell.
"Damn it! I wanted to make a great display of power for my House at the wedding. Next plan, find me a Valyrian Steel sword!"
"What!?"
"A Valyrian Steel sword, sapphires in a golden hilt! On time for the wedding! All the greatest Houses have them!"
"The Lannisters haven't had one for centuries and they're still your most idolized lords..."
"Well it's not my fault they lost theirs!". Lionel stood up and walked to the window, visibly stressed.
"I need to make my House known. I know, fetch me my parchment! The Golden Tooth Ensemble shall perform!"
"M'lord-"
"Enough, Steffon! You've upset me enough today already, I'm not taking any more bad news!"
Steffon signed and gave Lionel the parchment.
>To Castellan Clayton Borax,
>Many thanks again for your wedding invitation to your wedding. I wish to provide a gift for your wedding, if you'd have it. The Golden Tooth Ensemble are a much-loved musical group, as told to me by Lord Quenten Banefort, and we are looking for opportunities to perform. We would love to perform at your wedding. It would be no trouble and, of course, free of charge.
>Yours, >Lord Lionel Lefford of the Golden Tooth.
Iβve do love these type of stores, especially time travel where he gets a do-over and can fix everything, but a lot of them as so badly written I just lose interest. They are often written like a checklist so itβs hard to get into the story. Please recommend me your favorites of this genre! Can be time travel, or just Harry getting help from someone to realize things people have been hiding from him.
Preferably complete, or at least enough of a story that it is still worth reading if itβs been abandoned
I enjoy the whole houses, lordships and family magic trope and was wondering if there are any fics that do it really well
