Iβm trying to put together a complete list of Lookout! Records, a label out of Berkeley, California that featured such famed punk bands as Green Day, Screeching Weasel, and Rancid. Iβm especially interested in first pressings and lot sales.

The Thing That Ate Floyd- 2xLP, Lookout Records Various Artists! Laytonville addressβ’ Orange vinyl, with 24 page booklet. Classic East Bay Punk Compilationβ’ Operation Ivy, Chrimpshrine, No Use For a Name, Mr.T Experience, The Lookouts, Neurosis, Sewer Trout and so many more, 32 bands!! Only 2 hours left on the auction, good luck to everyone interested! I love this comp, took me years to find a colored copy, although expensive, it well worth it!! π
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned by anyone yet, but in case it hasn't I wanted to put this out there. Green Day's contract with Warner's is officially fulfilled and they are now label free agents. There has been a lot of talk about them just being independent, and putting out records on their own, since they don't really need a label anymore. If they go they route, they may as well just throw Larry Livermore a few bucks and buy the Lookout Records name to put out their new music.
Right?!?!
Hi, I'm Larry Livermore. I grew up in Detroit, worked in steel mills and auto factories, got in a lot of trouble, and wound up in California, where I played in punk bands, started a fanzine, and got in a bunch more trouble. I gave Tre Cool his name and his first drum lesson, watched my little solar-powered record label turn into a multi-million dollar business, then walked away from it all. Now I've written a book about it, which is available from Amazon or directly from my publisher, signed by me. I'm looking forward to talking with you and answering your questions for the next hour or two, so let's get started!

Ok, I've got to take off in about 5 or 10 minutes, so get your last questions in now!
Sorry, I'd love to stick around for another hour, but I've got someone coming to film me for a documentary about Ann Arbor in the 60s and 70s, so I've got to sign off now! I've really enjoyed this, and hope we can do it again one day! So long now!
I am looking to complete my collection of Lookout!/Panic Button recordings. I have quite a few but I need quite a few more. I am trying to collect everything they put out on vinyl. Please let me know what you have! They donβt have to be the original pressings as long as they have the Lookout label.
Iβm planning on doing most of dookie in this style, I already got when I come around completed but I want to release it as a full package. Full album art and all. But since I posted the old crusty one from before here I wanted to update you guys. This one is a work in progress as Iβm aware itβs a bit heavy on the treble and mids, but I got the drums and the overal structure of the song nailed down to a T. Hope you enjoy! https://feen.us/lte04y.flac
im doing a comp of the best Epitaph and Lookout albums...
what's your top ten (no order) for the two labels?
